Disappointing
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve been quite disappointed with the Series 9 Contemporary Tall Built-Under Dishwasher. It’s noticeably loud during operation, smaller than expected, and the overall design feels impractical—particularly with both a cutlery shelf and a basket, which seems redundant and wastes usable space.
Additionally, plates, cutlery etc all come out dirty - even on the longest cycle. The shelf rollers (wheels) frequently fall off, and several internal components feel flimsy, which doesn’t inspire confidence in its long-term durability. We were assured this model would be a significant upgrade, but it has not met the expectations that were set - very disappointing.

Perfect Fit
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After using Fisher and Paykel dish drawers for the last 20 years i was skeptical as to whether i would like it or not. It has nice clean finishes and fitted the gap perfectly.
I have been using it about 6 weeks now and have no complaints with the quality of the wash and loading is great. With just one person though it takes a few days to get a load of dishes.
I have recently purchased the F & P 8kg Steam Care washing machine and Condenser Dryer and are very happy with the results I'm getting.

A bit meh...
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We installed this dishwasher into our new kitchen recently and it was purchased because of its appearance. Our new kitchen is black and I really liked that the face was plain without any buttons. It fits in seamlessly. It doesn't wash particularly well nor does it dry all the way. I have to thoroughly rinse the dishes before they go into the dishwasher and use the 'heavy' cycle every time and sometimes it still doesn't clean thoroughly. The door pops open to finish the dry cycle which makes my butlers pantry extremely warm and the inside of the dishwasher is usually dripping at the end of the cycle. I miss my Asko dishwasher for its functionality and efficiency but enjoy the look of this F&P dishwasher.

dishwasher drawer lost its ball bearing after purchasing. Contacted Fisher & Paykel with some difficulty. Finally service came out to look at issue. Service said they couldn't pull the dishwasher out because it was installed too close.... but it was installed by Fisher & Paykel??? Service department said we would have to organise our own plumber to remove dishwasher but it was installed by Fisher & Paykel??? Now service is looking into it??? What a joke... is this what we can expect from a high end manufacturer???

Do not buy this dishwasher a waste of money
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We would not buy this dishwasher again, the dishes do not wash property even on a heavy wash, every bit of food needs to be removed, otherwise it comes out with food still on the dishes. We rinse the dishes ensuring they are very keen before going into. The dishwasher is a waste of time. You expect to rinse the dishes but not every inch of the plates. It makes more work for me than its worth, I rather wash up by hand

Dishwasher dream

Really like the hidden control panel and the little light that shines on the floor to let you know the dishwasher is running. Great to have both cutlery options of basket or pull out tray on top. The door automatically opens & the dishes are near completely dry when done. This dishwasher is a dream.

We bought this less than a year ago and have had nothing but problems. Have had a technician out more than once and still can't make this poor excuse for a dishwasher clean dishes. Have tried different settings and washing tablets. Extremely disappointing after previously owning a Bosch. Wish I had done more research.

The dishwasher is a high quality appliance and we’re very impressed with how it operates…..but the installation was very poorly done. When I raised my concerns about the poor quality installation, although I did have my installation fees refunded, the service I received was also poor.
