Rated 4 out of 5 by from G 5210 SC CLST dishwasher review This is an excellent machine, supper quite, easy loading and unloading, things come out clean and dry. I deducted 1 star as I am having an issue with the on switch, it’s rare for it to work on the first press, it takes 2 to 3 attempts to work. I have tried different techniques whilst pressing the button but nothing is evident of where it will work. Looks like a call-out as it’s faulty and I suspect that it’s the main board alignment with the button location. This is my 3rd Miele dishwasher in over 40 years and I am sure that this issue is not normal for the brand. I would still recommend this machine.

We recently moved house after thirty years and our other home had a Miele dishwasher which we totally loved and when we moved to our new home there was another cheaper one here. We didn’t leave it long before we totally gave up on the cheap other model machine and invest in another Miele unit. We haven’t looked back the dishes are all clean each time we use the machine and it is really quite too. I would encourage anyone looking for a quality dishwasher to consider one of the Miele units as they are fantastic units which wash your dishes and dry them to a perfect ten each time with no fuss.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Superb perfomance This product arrived two weeks We replaced it for a German made dishwasher that had become unreliable after 5 years. Miele dishwasher is heaps better performing than our other one. It is very quiet and the baskets are very sturdy. I love the wash options. For me they are not too enormous in choice but the ones that are there are practical and very useful. The automatic open door for drying is giving finishing results that I have never experienced before. It is fabulous. This is our fourth Miele product. We have a freezer that is super quiet and the washing machine and dryer are a pleasure to operate and the results are clean and kind to the clothes.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great dishwasher, please fix the power button . Good dishwasher. The power button sometimes doesn't respond and takes a few tries. I don't think it is a physical issue, but the electronics trying to get out of its sleep mode. Pressing it a few times works. It has been like this since new and you can find similar reviews stating it.

How many Amps/watts does the heater element draw?

Great question Steve! Most modern The Miele brand uses a combination of a hot final rinse on dishes with cold water going into a condensation panel on the side to draw water droplets,with an open door system then allowing warm, moist air to escape & prevent excess condensation, allowing ambient room air in to assist in drying. The approximate draw per use is 2kW with approx 189kWh per year. ^CO
