What are the correct electrical specifications for this product? There's no way it only draws 1400mA and there's no chance it's designed to connect with a 10A plug and socket connection.

Thanks for your question. This freestanding induction hob features Power management, which divides the power between the front and rear zones for each of the 2 outer modules. This allows either the front or rear zone to draw power from the other, if maximum power is required. The hob will power share to Max 9.6kw. Hope this helps clarify. ^CO
