Rated 3 out of 5 by from A good looking cooker but..... [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Had to replace our old cooker so I spent quite a while looking for a new one that I liked the look of and would suit the look of our kitchen. I went for the Fisher & Paykel because it looked good and was recommended by all the sales assistants that I spoke to, also my daughter had just purchased the same cooker. After having the cooker for several months there are lots of things about it that I like but also a few that I don’t. The space between the glass door which you can’t remove to clean is a big no. The dough proofing setting does not work. The sliding shelves have discoloured after cleaning.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Quite brilliant I purchased this oven after seeing a write up on it in a home and lifestyle mag. The oven is fantastic, I’ve never had an oven that cooks so beautifully, and specifically the 2 fans in this oven rotate in opposite ways which means even distribution of heat across the oven. You can’t really stuff up a meal! My only criticism is that the knobs that operate the ignition of the hot plate are really tough and need a serious push with a few seconds hold to ignite the burner. Particularly the central wok burner. Apparently this is because the strength of the heat created in this burner is second only to the Franke cooker and hence a really sturdy spring is required to achieve resistance to ignite the burner. (Annoying but it is what it is) Initially getting in touch with F&P was a total nightmare (I thought there was something not right with my hot plate as I couldn’t get a couple of burners going at all at one stage hence the call) when they did finally get back to me after I had to write to them over a social media platform days later after not being able to get through to anyone at the call centre, they quite promptly sent a repair person over to have a look. The repairman made a few tweaks to the knobs but still I find the ignition process difficult and see this as room for improvement in terms of the design and engineering of this oven. This issue aside though, it’s gorgeous to look at, easy to clean, obviously well made using quality materials, (as confirmed by the person who came out to attempt repair) just a shame about the hot plate itself otherwise this would be a total winner.

Waited nearly 3 months for parts on the first one. Enamel is peeling from the door. Fisher & Paykel Customer care couldn't be any worse if they tried.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great oven with beautiful black finish. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Very nice stove with so many features that assist our cooking options. It's going to serve us well for a long time. Two small gripes: 1/ The oven thermostat does not display the correct oven temperature. The interior temperature is a good deal cooler than the temperature selected on the oven controls. 2/ The flame adjustments for the dual central burners were very hard for the gasfitter to access and adjust because the microswitch was blocking access to one of the adjusting screws. Attention to detail when assembling will prevent this.

She is very happy with the all the functions of the oven but most of the self-cleaning ability and the warming drawer which makes her cooking experiences even better. Black in color with stainless steel gas top is so easy to keep clean and it has blended beautifully into our farm house type kitchen enhancing its style.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Our new 90cm Series 9 Classic 5 Burner Dual Fuel Pyrolytic Cooker is not only stunning in looks it is precision manufacturing and wouldferfuly functioal. This is by far the best cooker we have installed and used in in our 37 years of building new homes. I was initialy looking at an alternative 90cm free standing stove at a lower price point when it was suggested by a passionate cheff I should look at the Fisher and Paykel due to the quality of the product, standard feature, cooking options, quality, reliability, and uniformity of baking temperature through the whole oven. Having purchased and installed our new stove all of the above have exceeded our expectations. Even the delivery was seamless and on time which was surprising being the week before Christmas.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Stylish yet functional! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I haven't had such a flash oven before, nor cooked with a gas top. This looks so stylish in my new kitchen and I get so many comments. I love that I can fit so much inside the oven when cooking or baking - it's so large! It heats up quickly and the gauge shows you as it's rising to the temperature you've selected. It is very easy to use, there are no fancy gimmicks that just look nice but you don't use! I haven't used the warmer drawer yet as it's just me (single) in the house. I have found the top of the cooker really easy to clean too - I was dreading that. But the top wipes down really easily (even after cooking bacon which splatters everywhere) and doesn't leave streak marks. The freestanding cooker not only looks stylish, it's functional and I'm really glad I chose this.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Grea tCooker I purchased this cooker In January this year 2023 to replace my Smeg. The cooker has some great features pull out racks are awesome. Timer, Pizza mode is amazing. However, the only fault I can really find is the temperature is way off the mark. I now use a temperature clock in the cooker and adjust the temperature control to get the correct temperature when cooking that is disappointing. The cooker top is great although you do need thick bottomed pans to stop burning your pans even on a low heat. Rice is the worst!. The build I have had no concerns with as yet. The oven is very quick to heat up and maintains the temperature extremely well. This is the best oven that I have owned and I do love a quality oven. The oven is very stylish and looks amazing in my Kitchen. Is the oven worth the money? absolutely. I would have given 5 stars is the temperature had been more accurate.
