Poor designThe unit doesn't sit flush with the cabinets, only the base is 60cm, and the front or the face of the unit looks like it's missing a piece - the recirculated air blows out from the front vents in the unit face, above the telescopic slide out piece and it just looks unfinished. Because the body isn't 60cm wide, there are gaps on both sides of the unit, perfect for dust and cockroaches, and it couldn't be screwed to the side cabinets. This unit needs a fascia and side brackets for simpler installation.

Does this rangehood meet the NZ standard healthy homes exhaust capacity of 50 litres per second? Also does it vent to the outside

Hi Mary. The range hood has a maximum air movement 180m³/hr and the venting diameter is 125mm. The range hood can be vented outside either through the roof or through an external wall. Hope this helps with your query.
