Great Suction, But Some Frustrating Quirks[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Overall, the Fisher & Paykel 90cm Series 7 Rangehood is a great appliance with fantastic suction power. It does an excellent job of clearing steam and cooking odours from the kitchen. However, it's not without its flaws.
My biggest issue is the noise level; it's quite loud, even on the lowest speed, which can be disruptive. While the built-in light is good, I do wish it were brighter. You can adjust the brightness through the app, which is a nice touch, but it's not always convenient to pull out your phone while cooking, and the manual adjustment method is not at all intuitive.
I was really excited about the feature that automatically links the rangehood to the cooktop, turning it on as soon as you start cooking. It's a brilliant idea, but I was very disappointed to find it isn't compatible with my cooktop, even though it's also a Fisher & Paykel appliance.
So, while it's a powerful and effective rangehood, the noise and the issues with the light and feature compatibility keep it from being perfect.

Great Range Hood, it really sucks :)Easy to install, the black stainless matches the rest of the range. The best part is, it is quiet. I can't really fault it.
We aim to dispatch orders within 2 days. Delivery costs are calculated based on your location and the size of your order. Furniture may take up to 8 weeks to deliver as most products are made specifically for your order. Some Customer Direct products are shipped from overseas and may take longer to arrive. Some goods may take longer to deliver if a product is currently not in stock. A staff member will contact you where this occurs.

If you feel your product has failed a Consumer Guarantee (as defined by New Zealand Consumer Law) then don't worry you can easily return it to your local Harvey Norman store.
