Extractor product issues.I purchased this a few weeks ago and had it professionally installed one week ago. Unfortunately the reverse flap (which stops air from out side coming inside) disengaged - this lead to a call out and he sorted this quickly - so watch the packaging and tell the installer to be careful. I don't know if it will happen again as the technician took away a piece that I think keeps in in properly. The worst thing about this product is the wrapping - you will never get it all off and have to fart about with a scalpel knife and lighter to get rid of the blue wrapping which has the frame built around it. No one will take apart as it will void the guarantee on the product. I recommend paying more for a 600W. F&P actually called my installer a shoddy installer which was the very opposite as we both tried to do this together.
However, it is simple and seems to work well once the reverse flaps were put back in place.

Good buyComes well protected in plastic wrap and is an easy install. Looks good and functions well with several fan speed settings and light.

Hi Geoff. When working at it's highest setting, the operating noise is 71 dB. At it's lowest setting, the operating noise is 56 dB. As a point of reference, a whisper measures at about 30dB, average ambient house noise measures at about 40dB, a quiet office is about 50dB and normal conversation measures at about 60dB.
