Does this meet the new Healthy Homes requirements for extraction fans?
Thanks for your question. To meet the Healthy Homes Standards in New Zealand, kitchen rangehoods must vent directly to the outdoors and have a minimum ducting diameter of 150mm OR an exhaust capacity of at least 50 litres per second (lps). This model uses 150mm ducting and delivers 750 m3/hr airflow (208lps) and requires an installer to ensure compliance for healthy homes installation for air exfil. ^CO

Hi there, Is this unit rear vented or top vented? Looking to replace our compact unit with one that has a top chimney, mainly to cover the power supply. but we still require a rear vented model to match the ducting currently installed
Thanks for your question Chris. This is a top-vented unit and is designed to exhaust from the top to a wall vent, or via them chimney to a ceiling vent or system. It cannot be rear vented sadly. Hope this helps clarify! ^CO

Thanks for your question. Yes, it's designed as a ducted unit for vent or chimney, but if this isn't an option, the rangehood can be installed in recirculation mode. You will require Carbon Filters which are purchased separately. Instructions on this process are included in box. ^CO

The total height measures 638Hmm to 1025Hmm, depending on requirements, with an optional extension available to order, adding an additional 700Hmm. The product code is RHRWY3CL27.
