We opt this product as we just want to replace the old rangehood from our place. And harvey norman is the only shop that sold like this design that is almost the same as our old one. Though It is more expensive than other new designs of rangehood.
My score is just in the middle as it took awhile to be delivered and I need to email back after a month of waiting before they delivered the next day.

Easy to install by a mother/son duo with no arguments because the instructions were very clear. Harvey Norman was the only outlet I could purchase from that was in stock and didnt have to special order in or wait for delivery.

Out with the Old, in with the New
Correctly fitted the space of the old range hood. However it required adapting the vent from round to rectangular to match existing outlet.
The installation booklet is not very clear about how the mounting brackets fit.

The service was good, but unfortunately the product is very flimsy and I don't see it lasting that long. It's a case of "you get what you paid for" and, in hindsight, I should have bought a more expensive one

Great question Kara! We don't have these ranged, but they can be ordered via your local store who can query costs and availability with supplier. The part number is 114514. To clean the grease filter, use hot soapy water, or the dishwasher. Check product instructions for more info. ^CO

Does this come with an exterior ducting kit or does that need to be purchased separately?
It does not come with a ducting kit, this would need to be purchase separately. There are various kits depending on where you will be ducting out to. If you need assistance selecting the correct kit, please don't hesitate to contact your local Harvey Norman store.

Hi Margan. Thanks for your question. This Rangehood does not comes with a covering and unfortunately we do not sell coverings. Usually this Rangehood is built into the cabinets and this tends to hide the ducting. Our staff in store will be able to show you examples of this in store. Hope this helps with your question.

I am thinking of replacing a similar range hood - ASKO -as latter no longer make that model using RTA3CI6WH. How does the tilter hood release from the wall unit? Regards Colin
Hi there. Thanks for your question. The hood is manually opened and there are two catches that keep the hood open and can be adjusted to open a small amount or fully extend. Hope this helps with your query.
