Rattling sound
As much as like the design and how it looks in the kitchen, the noise was not what I expected. I know that the fan extraction has to be noisy to work, but the rattling sound it's making when turn on and off, and to some degree doring is concerning. Sounds like it will break any minute, the professional installer explained it's the flaps above the engine making that noise. Had never heard anything like it before.

I am considering having this rangehood against an internal wall (gib on wooden framing). Are there any special requirements for installation? Builder would install as its a new build.
Hi Carla. The only thing you will need to be mindful of is the ducting. If it is going against an internal wall, the ducting will need to go upwards. Otherwise no other special considerations are needed. Hope this helps
