Rated 5 out of 5 by from Simplest design but amazing work I bought this to replace my useless slideout rangehood in my property. What a big difference in efficiency! Powerful but surprisingly quiet. Even when I test my motor in my house, the noise was much lower than my original one, notwithstanding I'm now putting it on my roof. The cons is sometimes it's hard to realise I didn't turn it off 'cos it's so quiet. Single speed isn't a matter to me as I have no concern putting it fully on. It would be better, however, if the backdraft shutter is a standard accessory that comes with it.

Auditory processing issues mean i couldn't hear anything anyone said to me if the rangehood was on, and it's always on! This has been a lifesaver for this neurodivergent family, so quiet I can hardly tell it's running. Highly recommend!

I am so happy with it that I have an annoying habit of showing it off to friends, demonstrating just how quiet it is when cooking. It makes such a huge difference to be able to have a conversation while cooking, rather than be drowned out by a noisy fan. I wouldn't use anything else, and highly recommend.

Relatively straightforward installation, low profile design of the internal part due to the extracting motor sitting on the roof. Quiet and efficient. Removable filtering screens for easy cleaning. One star taken for the rather basic looking internal panel. However, this is the low end model in the Schweingen lineup.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Amazing Our kitchen installer mentioned that you were able to get "silent" rangehoods now and I thought I'd better check this out. I didn't want the rangehood to be a feature in the kitchen, and this one is discreet visually and when it is running so, so quiet. I love it!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from silent inside game changer inside - with really very little noise - easiely talk over it!! you can hear it outside so if you need it near an entertainment area think about position. Only negative was we didn't realise only one speed but as so silent does not really matter
