Excellent drying performance
Bought this about a month ago and so far, very good. It replaced a Miele heat pump dryer which we had for about 7 years. One reason to go back to a vented model was the drying performance. Heat pump dryers just take longer and often the clothes aren’t 100% dry. However the advantage of a heat pump is it doesn’t distribute hot, moist air in your laundry. Heat pump models are also more energy efficient. My Miele dryer had half the energy usage as this Electrolux. However I think this vented dryer runs for half the time, so on that basis total energy consumed is about the same.
So overall happy so far and hoping I get a lot of years out of it.

Not the Best
Compared to other vented dryer (Hoover) I had many years in the past, it is such a disappointment I have to dry my clothes in two 90 minute cycles before it’s dry. Perhaps I should have listen to my neighbour and purchase a condenser dryer. This vented dryer heating element doesn’t seem to work well as it should.
This was purchased in the month of April 2025 and less than a month already had issues because the heating element was failed and all it did was blow cold air. Another was replaced new and although heating element is working fine but it’s nowhere as good as my previous other vented dryer.

Quality Vented Dryer
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We purchased this dryer earlier in the year and have been very pleased. Works perfectly with SensorDry and therefore can finish drying you clothes in a shorter period of time, supporting with a lower electricity bills. Love it!! We also own an Electrolux frontloading washing machine. Will always speak highly of Electrolux products. My earliest memory is as a child in the 1970's was our Electrolux vacuum cleaner, my parents had many good years of use. Not only am I sentimental about your products, I can honestly say they are quality products!

Value for money and reliable.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I needed a set and forget dryer, with auto-shutoff, so I found this in stock and it was an easy choice. The extra capicity is great, meaning I can easily put a whole load of washing in to dry. The automatic settings work well, and adjust timing on the fly as it senses moisture dropping. I wish there was something specific to explain but the truth is it does everything as advertised so I would just be explaining what is obvious.
Instruction manual was a bit confusing in regards to settings, specifically what the auto-dry features do.

Does the job as promised.
Seems a very efficient machine at this early stage, the controls are easy to understand and use and it dries laundry thoroughly.

Great dryer for its price
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great dryer for its price
But..
when installing on the wall upside down (so the control panel is accessible) the digital display doesn’t flip so it stays upside down.
It does come with a control panel sticker for when users want to install it this way which is very normal but the design wasn’t thought out properly.
The panel needs to be made in a way that you can just take out the 2x screws and flip it without even needing to change the sticker.
Doesn’t change the operation but it does look silly.

Does exactly what it promises – quietly and efficiently
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Picked this up after plenty of research and it hasn't disappointed. The SensorDry feature is the standout – it actually stops when clothes are dry instead of running a full cycle and overcooking everything. Big deal in Darwin's humidity where you'd think clothes dry fast but indoors they don't. Drum size handles a full family load with no issues. Quiet enough to run at night without waking the kids. Setup was straightforward and it's been reliable since day one. Genuinely happy with this purchase.

Great machine but could improve the aesthetics
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great machine so far. Probably just disappointed in the fact that the outside finish is not as square as my last Electrolux dryer which I did not appreciate when I bought it over the phone from the retailer. Whilst still shorter than my washing machine (which I had realised) I had not appreciated its more curved finish. It makes it perhaps less modern-looking. I probably would have bought the F&P dryer instead had I realised these aesthetics but was put off by the port reviews of F&P.
