great machine now its fixedbought it a few months ago and found the lint filter was not working.
i finally got it fixed under warranty apparently the early 6kilo machines had a problem with the drum they replaced it and Walla awesome little machine. the drum looked similar but at bottom it was very different with extra plastic plate on the bottom.

Washing Wonder MachineI didn't reaise how sad and loud my old washing machine wad until it died and I bought my new 6kg Westinghouse wonder about a month ago. Its so quiet that i have to set my kitchen timer to remind me that its done! My washing is so much drier when the cycle is completed, and cleaner! It easily takes a big load of washing, switching to different cycles is a breeze and its modern design has given tje laundry a facelift too. I highly reccomend this machine it actually does everything it claims and was a very competitive price compared to other brands. About the only thing it doesn't do is hang the wadhing on the line! Perfect choice for my family of 5!

So Far So GoodI bought this machine a few weeks ago to replace the third Fisher & Paykel I have owned over the years. So far so good, the machine performs well, however the programming can be a tad difficult to learn, particularly when some of the wash cycles do not allow all the options to be chosen - but I guess we all live and we learn. It's resonably quiet, except for when the machine is pumping out when the pump can make a very loud clunking noise, but apart from that it's a good machine that washes well, and doesn't appear to have some of the problems that other reviewers have mentioned.

nice and quietThis model was a learning curve from 2 previous Simpson washers over many years. Working well now that I have got used to it. Only problem I had was when an unbalanced load symbol came up and it said in the book to turn off the machine and re-arrange the load. This I did but when turned back on it started the one hour cycle again. It should have said put machine on pause and it would have started from there, not from the beginning. Hence that load took one and half hours un necessarily. Also had trouble with a mesh canister in the machine with delicates in it. Stopped 3 times during that. Won't use that again.

Great Value PurchaseWhile I am very happy with the performance of this washing machine, future buyers should be aware that the outer skin of the body is quite thin, compared to older machines, and if you are pushing it into a narrow space, it is easy to dent the skin. It will pull out with a plunger but leave a small crease. Also, there was a warning attached to the power plug about removing straps from the feet, prior to using the washing machine. I could find no straps, which apparently are put on to hold the bowl steady in transit. A phone call to Kelvinator, the agents for Westinghouse assured me that they would be there, but hey were not. Despite these teething problems, the machine works well.
We aim to dispatch orders within 2 days. Delivery costs are calculated based on your location and the size of your order. Furniture may take up to 8 weeks to deliver as most products are made specifically for your order. Some Customer Direct products are shipped from overseas and may take longer to arrive.
