Rated 3 out of 5 by from Short power cord Purchased a day ago. Cord did not reach power point used by previous fridge, so delivery men used my normal extension and tied it up. Very dangerous as I found out . Had to buy heavy duty extension in shortest length 5m which is actually much too long. Manual says you need to regularly examine drain in refridgerator but doesn't show where drain is. Online Haier had to google it. It is outside fridge at bottom.

I have found it to be quiet, big enough for a single person and it's great that I don't have to bend for the vegetables any more. It's a shame that the door shelves cannot be moved to fit my middle sized bottles, but hey so what. It got delivered and installed the following day with no fuss.

What is the height from the bottom (floor) to the join centred between door please, for the HRF230BW. This is for integration purposes. Thanks

Great question Mark. The height from the floor to the top of the bottom door, is 840mm, while the height from the floor to the bottom of the top door, is 850mm. With a gap size of 10mm, this puts it roughly at 845mm from floor to join. Trust this helps! ^CO

What clearance is needed for the fridge?

Great question! According to the instructions from Haier, you will need to allow at least 50mm of space on the sides and back wall when installing the unit. We also recommend at least 50-100mm space above the unit for adequate ventilation support where possible. Trust this helps! ^CO.

Hi there, I live in an apartment with built ins, and looking at this Haier model, my built in door opens from right to left and most fridges are configured the other way - would you be able to change this configuration for customer?

Thanks for your question. Yes, it does have Reversible Doors for customers to change where required, and includes a kit to facilitate this. What are the controls meant to be set on for keeping both the fridge top and freezer bottom suppose to be set on please

Hi Vonnie. The manufacturer recommends 4 °C for the fridge. You may need to select a degree higher or lower depending if its a hot summer or cold winter in your area. The freezer compartment has a slider that you can adjust how cold you would like the freezer to be. The manufacturer recommends having the slider in the middle for normal use. Hope this helps

What does Manual Defrost involve?

Thanks for the question Suzanne. To manually defrost your fridge freezer: Take everything out of both the refrigerator and freezer and turn it off. Open all the doors to allow warm air to circulate inside. Place towels at the bottom of the compartments to collect and absorb the liquid as it melts. Once the machine is completely defrosted, clean the inside with a cloth and lukewarm water. After cleaning, wipe with fresh water and rub dry. Once it is completely dry, return any food to the refrigerator and turn it back on to the appropriate temperature setting. Trust this helps!
