Rated 5 out of 5 by from Electricity Saver We have had ths haier 433l fridge now for 2 weeks. I was hesitant in buying a bottom mount fridge. However i have to say i am impressed on what we can fit into the fridge /freezer. We mainly bought it for the excellent 8 star power rating which will see our power bill drop. It runs very quietly, you wouldn't even know it was on. I can not say much more about it yet as i haven't had it long enough to know how good this brand is. For now though very happy with it.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Great look, but door reversal a tricky operation We’ve just purchased this fridge freeze recently so can’t fully review its performance. We had significant issues with door reversal and want to warn others who intend to do it themselves. The instructions for the bottom (freezer) door are not related to this model. We had the top door pulled off and about to reverse the bottom when we discovered a couple of issues, one being a metal plug in position that prevented the door closing mechanism from being screwed flush. To ensure our warranty remained valid we called in the F&P service team who also struggled with the lower door reversal. Thankfully we were not charged. Sadly we had to wait a week for the service team, luckily we still had our old fridge. Will update with performance in a month or so

The sleek design looks great, and the layout is super practical with easy access to fridge items up top. Plenty of space for a family shop, and it keeps everything at the right temperature. Also feels very energy efficient. If you’re after a silent, stylish, and spacious fridge that performs well, this is a great choice.

I am somewhat shocked at how well this fridge works and how much it can hold. It is easy to see everything, manage the items on the shelves, put plenty of items in the door and generally keep food fresh for longer. Veggies last so much longer in the crisper than our last fridge! I love it!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great fridge, deserves a real handle! We've had this fridge for around 5 months. Good points: it's really really quiet. It really really is energy efficient (we are off grid, and I have measured it). Probably averages around the equivalent of 16 watts continuous, but it draws power intermittently with a maximum of around 160 watts. It has good capacity for both the fridge and the freezer- but that's relative of course. it does what it's supposed to. Not so good points: as mentioned elsewhere, it doesn't really have a useable handle for the fridge door as the bottom edge recess is too low. We had a friend make a wooden one which we fixed to the door with extra high bond double sided tape - works a treat - see photo. We had to change over the door to hinge from the left and it was a real pain to get the screws into the alternative holes as they were filled up with the (sticky) foam insulation. Conclusion: We are really happy with the fridge so far.

It has a really well-designed layout that keeps everything organised and easy to access, plenty of space for a full grocery shop and meal prep, produce that stays fresh for longer, and a clean, minimal look that fits seamlessly into the kitchen. Rated 3 out of 5 by from Very low door opener handles [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Fantastic fridge but to open the door of the fridge the handle is at the bottom of the door and I’m Not 4 foot tall. Brought online so didn’t know handles was so low. You need to place the handle hole on the side of the doors instead.

Fridge width is 700mm. What allowance is necessary in space between fridge and cabinetry to ensure fridge doors can open freely

Thanks for your question John! For this model, Haier recommend at least 50mm spacing around the sides and top. For door swing, allow at least 1323mm from the back of the unit to the front, and at least 1111mm from the left of the unit to the right for an angled opening. Hope this helps! ^CO

Does this fridge come in different colours?

Thanks for your question Julian. This size Haier fridge comes in Black (HRF420BEC) and is a more energy efficient model, while there are similar sized models in Black (HRF420BC) and Satina (HRF420BS) which have lower energy saving potential. Hope this helps! ^CO
