Rated 3 out of 5 by from Product great - service poor The freezer itself is excellent, however the service was so bad am giving this 3 stars. Pickup notice tells you in small print that there is porirua warehouse pickup (even though the ordering option was selected as porirua store at parumoana st - so drove up to porirua when store was open but warehouse closed and couldn't pick it up, waste of 30 mins and cost of driving. Then a few days later go back to warehouse to pick it up, they tell us only when getting there it is an open box freezer, offer no discount and say there is no other stock. Had just bought frozen food beforehand to put in it so did not have a choice but to accept. Won't be in a hurry to shop here again...

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect for townhouse living Only had this a couple of days but already love it. We live in a townhouse with no garage, so finding freezer space is always a challenge. The Konka fits perfectly in a lounge nook beside the couch and is completely silent while running, so noise is zero concern wherever you put it. It was ready to use straight out of the box and fully frozen within 5 hours. Now we've got heaps of space for meat and veges without the stress. One minor gripe: the included food basket is a touch too short and can easily get knocked down into the freezer. It also feels a bit flimsy, so time will tell if it holds up. But that's a small issue on an otherwise great unit. Highly recommend!

The Konka Hybrid Chest Fridge/Freezer is perfect for a cheap but effective freezer in a small home, it is extremely power efficient which helps save a lot of money. The freezer traps all the cold air inside so there's no noticeable coldness coming from it too. It holds a lot of food inside the freezer and is quite easy to grab because of the size. Overall this is one of the best freezers for the cheap price.
