Not a great start but looks good...
Dented door and recurring gurgling sounds throughout the day take away from what looks like a fantastic fridge freezer. Well designed, well lit internally and a good amount of space however, two months into owning this appliance and I'm still awaiting an engineer to replace the door and for someone to explain the gurgling sound which is occurring too often for a brand new fridge freezer.
The registration and smart connection was far to buggy as they weren't able to verify my email address so I wasn't able to use the smart functionality/app until this had been sorted. Coincidentally, the issue was rectified as soon as a new version of the SMART HQ app was released.

Trouble getting help
I have a problem with door misalignment- the fridge doors are not flush with each other and the left hand door is lower than right. The manual says put in spacers. where do I obtain spacers?
Secondly I can find no way to remove the crisper drawer for cleaning purposes. Can you help?
The troubleshooting chat is no help as it just tries to pass you to agents who are not available and then the bot is unable to understand any messages. As there does not seem to be another way to communicate I am using this review facility
We are mostly very pleased with the fridge freezer but would like to resolve these small annoyances

Great Fridge
Really great fridge. It’s a good size. Not massive but not small either. Perfect for a family of 4 to 6
Very important to measure all of your household doors before buying a fridge of this size we were lucky to have a double door on a patio and a 90cm wide utility room door. Saves the fridge having to be taken apart and reassembled.
The filtered water is great and I even found the kids drinking more as it’s on tap so to speak.
We mainly bout the fridge for the increased freezer size. The ice container is also very handy probably more so in warmer climates.
Perfect all around family fridge.

Great fridge. Stylish and functional
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It’s a great fridge. Seems to be heaps of space in the fridge compartment. Doesn’t seem to hold in smells and keeps food fresher for longer. The light in the back helps brighten up the whole fridge but at night time it’ll light up the whole house so midnight snacks are dazzling. The freezer is a little small and you loose a shelf to the ice maker but it’s worth it!!! My only major issue is probably an issue with my water supply but the water filler on the front can be slow and the pump seems to make a lot of noise.

Holds more than you would think.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is our first Fisher & Paykel refrigerator. We are impressed with its design and functionality and find it meets our needs in every way. It doesn’t look as big as our previous brand refrigerator but seems to hold more and it is very easy to see at a glance what we are looking for. The bright illuminated back panel is great at night. We’ve only had our refrigerator for a couple of months but are really happy with our purchase and would be happy to recommend it to our friends.

Very Happy!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Have had this fridge for about a month now and love it! It has plenty of room, it looks good and i adore the ice maker and cold water dispenser. I drink a lot more water now because its so convenient and no filling bottles that take up room in the fridge. The ice maker is incredible, we are never out of ice and we dont have to do a thing. Had a side by side before it was never wide enough and had to juggle food around constantly, this fridge is so roomy. Very happy!

Excellent appliance
Very attractive and practical appliance. We replaced a larger Maytag fridge freezer and were concerned that the new freezer area might not be big enough but have found this fridge freezer easily adequate. The 2 doors on the freezer and the design of 4 drawers and 2 shelves are also a good idea for making maximum use of the space. The ice container in the freezer is very neat. The back lighting in the fridge is very helpful. The door alarms are unmissable if doors are left open! Very pleased and would recommend.

Small but Cool
We are enjoying our new refrigerator very much. Especially the ice maker and filtered water. We have a new home and could not bring our previous Fisher & Paykel as it did not fit into the fridge space available. Purchased a new four door one which is smaller but now proving a great success with our family. Everyone comments on how versatile it is and the good use of interior space. Looking forward to many years of cool service from our new silver four door fridge. Thanks Fisher & Paykel.

I notice the cabinet space is larger than the fridge/freezer itself is this a requirement or a recommendation?
Thanks for your question Jay! This is a requirement. Units need room for airflow so they can release heat properly. Without it, they work harder, use more power, and might not cool as well. The exact gap depends on your model, so it’s best to check the installation guide. Trust this helps! ^CO
