Immediate regret
I really regret this purchase. Firstly I sliced my finger on a sharp edge connecting the water line. Secondly the shelves damaged and scratched the metal when removing plastic. Thirdly the shelves are too low, I can’t store anything except shallow containers on them. Standard sauce bottles are too high! I have to cram milk cartons, beer bottles, juice, soft drink, wine, sauce bottles all in the door shelves which have limited space and have now run out of room. There is no adjustable shelf! And despite all the technology I am unable to check the actual temperature. Immediate regret, wish I could go back in time and choose another fridge :(

Water 'dispenser' not water COOLER
After much deliberation and comparison over specs and brands, we chose to purchase this fridge. We upgraded from our similarly sized fridge solely for the purpose of the plumbed in water and ice dispenser. WHAT A DISAPPOINTMENT. After trying to troubleshoot why the water dispenser wasn't dispensing COOL water, I phoned LG directly only to be told this model isn't a water COOLER, rather a water DISPENSER. The ambient room temperature water is not what my family or I was expecting when spending the small mortgage we did on this fridge. I absolutely would NOT have purchased this fridge if this information was more upfront. I read up everything on this model and nowhere does it state this.

DO NOT BUY IF LIVE IN PERTH
Bought this 5 years ago - compressor failed - since discovered is a regular occurrence. Problem is LG do not have a repairer in Perth which will repair compressors.
I have lodged complaint with LG and 6 weeks later still no resolution - had to go buy new fridge - obviously avoided LG. Thought those in Western Australia should be aware

Love it!
We bloody love this fridge. Only 3months in, but it’s so good having such a big fridge for the fam. We thought we wouldn’t use the round ice cubes but they are actually really good, last ages. Same as the small door, we thought we wouldn’t use it, but we do all the time. No complaints with this fridge. Love it!

Do not buy if live in Perth
I bought this fridge using choice recommendation however when (not if) the compressor fails if you live in Perth WA you have no chance of LG getting this fixed or responding to you.
It’s been now 6 weeks last call to LG was they would call me back as their authorized repairer does not replace compressors - even though only 5 years old. Very poor service coverage in WA so steer clear

Loving my new LG Fridge!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Very impressed with our new fridge! We upgraded from a much older LG as we liked the French door design better as our old one always struggled to fit big cakes etc in. We really love the new fridge, it seems so much more spacious than our last one. The doors hold a lot and is such a better design for space inside. Also really like the black finish. But most of all, it does what it should which is keeps food and drinks cold or frozen and is really quiet. Highly recommend this model!

I have a space 945 wide x 1830 high and 820mm deep. Is this enough space to fit a LG 637L fridge freezer?
Great question Sharyn! According to the instructions, you would need to allow over 50 mm of clearance between the back of the appliance and the wall when installing. We also recommend at least 25mm either side and at the top of the unit for ventilation. Trust this helps! ^CO
