Rated 2 out of 5 by from Adjustability and features let it down. For: Very quiet operation, smart phone application is great. Led lighting is perfect, excellent freezer storage. Against: Door shelves are not adjustable and doesn't fit a standard beer stubble in the door. The shelves in the fridge doesn't allow for tall bottles (such as sauce) so they're either laying down or in where the milk is. No egg or cheese storage. Black stainless looks good but fingerprints show easily. Ice machine throws crushed ice everywhere, ending up with a large mess on the floor, no matter how close you hold the glass. No drip tray either.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Nice Fridge This is my second LG French Door fridge. Our previous fridge was the larger size. I have not really noticed space reduction in the freezer, however the fridge shelves seem to be not as deep from the back to the front as I would have expected. Having said that the fridge does have very large door shelves which works well for our food needs. It is great to be able to access those frequently used items via the door in door instead of needing to open the fridge. The new smooth lines on the front of the fridge and the simple clean lines of the ice/water access provide a lovely contemporary finish to fridge which matches nicely with my contemporary kitchen.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great fridge, builds on earlier French door design Well laid out, elegant, modern look. The door in door is well laid out with useful tray sizes. Love the hidden in-door ice, water and filter layout which keeps the fridge space clear. This is now 2nd generation design and improves on previous model. The craft ice is also great for any drink and adds a fun element. The app works well and easy to change any settings. The freezer is easily accessible and is reasonably spacious for dual door arrangement. After previous bin style freezer is better layout to organise stored food. Fridge is very quiet and may black stays cleaner and doesn't show finger prints.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Poor Quality for the price Purchased a few months ago the left door is way too heavy and can't be adjusted to stop it slamming hard. Shelves are cheap and the slide in section I have stopped using already as it gets stuck. The outside finish marks with fingers easy and the water fill is untidy due to it not being able to hold a spill. The fridge is not practical for large items.

Its 638L capacity is just perfect for us, and the door-in-door feature has truly revolutionized our kitchen. Despite its generous size, the fridge's depth is spot-on, making it effortless to find what we need. The shelving setup and space are fantastic, providing ample room for all our items. The ice and water features are a constant hit, utilized daily without ever running dry. The freezer, with its convenient slide-out bins and shelves, makes accessing items at the back a breeze. Ample lighting brightens every corner of the fridge, ensuring nothing gets lost in the shadows. The matte black finish adds a touch of sophistication, resembling titanium and miraculously repelling fingerprint marks. This fridge is unquestionably worth every cent invested.

This is our first French door fridge and we upgraded from a 400L upside down fridge/freezer. The space is amazing, but for a 700L fridge it's not too deep so things are easy to find. Depth coincidently was the same as our old fridge. The ice and water function is great, despite having two kids that love using the ice function (both crushed and cubed) we have not run out. The ice balls (while not perfectly round, ours have a flat top) are really good at keeping drinks cool and are an excellent additional source of ice. Having a freezer with slide out bins and shelves makes finding items at the back easy. Lighting is abundant and illuminates the entire fridge cavity. The matt black finish looks very sharp but does hold water marks so takes a bit more cleaning but is worth it in my opinion.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good LG fridge The fridge is great. It’s quiet, very well designed with extra storage spaces and the door in door feature. The only small negative is the ice from the dispenser doesn’t guide as well into your glass as you’d like. It often drops a little bit of ice outside the lip of the glass and hits the floor. No big deal, but you’d think LG might offer a quick fix attachment for it.

Hi there, how flush to the counter can this fridge be installed at? How much needs to be”stick out”? Thank you

Thank you for your question. According to the Product manual, the GF-D700MBLC fridge requires over 50 mm clearance at the back. The doors and handles will stick out slightly to allow proper airflow and door swing, so it won’t sit completely flush with your counters. -TW

my plumbed lg fridge freezer is old, i need a new plumbed fridge, the space in my kitchen is only 1770 mm high.all your fridges are 1780 or higher.... do you have a fridge 1760 or shorter? thanks Brian
