So disappointed
Bought this as our last LG double door with ice maker was incredible and one of my best investments ever.. after over 15 years the water pump finally died and we wanted to update kitchen. Problem with this is ice. Something import to my families needs. The ice dispenser had issues in the first 2 weeks. The opening mouth is also 2 large and ice ends up all over the floor, a wet patch under door always if i don’t get to it on those school morning rushes after attempting to full school

disappointing
I bought this fridge 6 weeks ago.. I am regretting it . The water is simply never chilled .. even first thing in the morning. The filter outside the fridge at the back will make it hard to get to change ( as against other brands inside the door) and doesnt give any confidence with leaking as it just hangs .The water outlet" locks "when the kids press for water . Had never encounted this before with any other brands, There is no obvious signage for the reason , or how to stop it . we figured it out after a few days of it simply getting stuck .But when unsuspecting visitors got water and it kept happening , we realised it just wasnt us. I see the fridge has had a big price drop since my purchase. I can see why.

Good, but…
Great Fridge, but the water/ ice dispenser needed to be designed better. It needs a wee drip tray or something and the ice can go everywhere if cup is not perfectly positioned which isn’t always possible. Also, The filter should be able to be changed in the fridge not from the back.

OK - Not Great
Have had a LG fridge with the knock front door for approx 5 years and has performed very well (one ice dispenser replaced was the only issue). This suddenly tripped the circuit and now won't turn on.
Bought this version at short notice due to stock availability and price.

- Water is cold only for a minor amount - as per other reviews you may find this one has the water filter and extra plumbing to the back of the fridge - Stupid idea. Water is not cold and the noise from the pipes and filter moving around is annoying. There is no where to secure the filter. Our older one had this inside the fridge and was always cold.
- Ice produces a very slow and low amount of ice compared to older model. Runs out frequently. Ice bin is similar size if not bigger than old model.
- Side by side design - originally we thought this was a four door like the old fridge. Using this one for a week the four door design was actually very good in organising and seeing all your items. This one everything is just pilled up. More shelves may assist.
Overall would not recommend.
