Hi i was wondering if these are total solid wood as it mentions pine and mdf. Also are these draws easy to open and close and be suitable for a older person in a resthome. Is there a extra charge to pick lighter colour & different handle . handles metal?

Hi there. Thanks for your message. The MDF mentioned is the board at the back and the bottom of the drawers. Otherwise it is solid wood. The drawers are very smooth as they are on metal runners. Suitable for anyone that has mobility concerns. There are no extra charges on changing the stain or handles. There may be a wait however while it is being made for you. Have the drawers got easy glide mechanisms?

Hi there. Thanks for your question. The bedsides have standard metal runners. You can request through your local store to have them made with double extension drawer runners. There will be an additional charge which the staff can quote you on. Hope this helps with your query.
