They are either too expensive or cheap and limited. This camera is versatile, well constructed and very competitively priced. It was exactly what I was looking for to give to my student daughter.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great camera Great camera. You have to play around with the settings a bit but all in all very user friendly and portable. The only issue is that it eats through batteries but that can be fixed with rechargeable ones.

It runs on AA batteries and can only take 8 - 10 photos before goes dead, and this is on 'lite' settings. I only got four photos from it when I first bought it and immediately changed any setting I could to save power. Also, it takes about four seconds to process each photo so you cannot take a photo and then another without the (long) wait.

The photos are ok but has a slight delay when taking photos. I had expected better quality from Kodak. I am disappointed and will not buy this again and would not recommend it to others.

Is there a camera case that can also be purchased for this camera?

Currently, there isn’t a specific Kodak-branded case for the Pixpro FZ45, but you can find compatible camera cases from third-party brands. Look for a compact, padded case that fits cameras of similar size, offering protection for the Kodak Pixpro FZ45. Many universal camera cases should work well.

Im having trouble charging the camera. Should I take the batteries out to charge?

Great question Michele! If using rechargeable ones then you can, as long as the camera is powered off before attempting to remove the batteries, and you only use the right batteries for the device. It accepts 2 x AA Alkaline NiMH Batteries. Hope this helps! ^CO

Does this camera come with a sd card?
