Rated 5 out of 5 by from Top camera, top specs I purchased this camera 23 April 2024 being a previous owner the R6 went it first arrived. I love the feel the mkii in hand and the layout of controls especially for my birding in M. I love the blistering auto focus tracking for my birds and the frame rate means I don't miss the best frame. This camera has no problem with higher iso that I use with my birding lenses. The 24 mp full frame is a cracker giving the sharpest of images. I find the Digital Converter brilliant, so that I never get caught without my long lenses. For me it's my no.1 then my R7 no.2, I still have my 7D I and 7Dii, I love them all. It's the power of the CANON

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect camera. Easy to use, quiet, fast. I purchased this a few weeks ago as I was keen to take up mirrorless technology. I have owned several Canon cameras since the 1970s. I have a good collection of L lens and purchased with the EF adapter. All my lens work perfectly with this new camera body. Right out of the box I was impressed with the focus speed, detail captured, low light performance. The flip out screen is new to me and is very useful. Battery life is good. Really happy I made the upgrade and would recommend this model to anyone keen to improve their photography skills. A quality product full of features and really easy to use. Well worth the price. I’m impressed.

Being an enthusiastic hobbyist nature and wildlife photographer and Canon owner for many years I bought the R6 mkii just before a once in a lifetime safari trip to Botswana. It was continually in my hands about 8 hours a day from dawn to dusk, all sorts of conditions, action and light. With all the amazing technology, button configuration, bird/animal eye tracking and the feeling of the camera in my hand… Not once did it disappoint. Banking on its low light capabilities it continued to reward me producing outstanding shots of the recent major Southern Aurora event back home in Australia. I love the reliability, flexibilty and images from this camera

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Canon R6 mkii, the camera that can do it all Recently upgraded to the R6 mkii from my Canon 600D just before going on a big 3 month trip and I am beyond happy & impressed with this camera; it can do it all. I’ve shot in many different situations and setting and I’ve had no problem. Vlogging and videoing at longer distances has been a delight with the added image stabilisation and the incredible autofocus as well. The ergonomics of the camera are very well thought out too as I’m able to access all of my setting with one hand and instantly change the ISO, aperture, shutter speed etc. with confidence. The Canon R6 mkii is an amazing camera and it’s charm & ease of use keeps me coming back to shoot more!

Jumping from DSLR to Mirrorless was obviously going to be great, it absolutely transformed the reliability of me to get perfectly shots in times that I need to. The intelligent I autofocus is so quick and can absolutely keep up with a The intelligent eye autofocus is so quick and can intelligent, it can absolutely keep up with a madness of a full day wedding. Ergonomics are great, weight is great, the additional megapixels over the first generation are welcomed. I think I actually prefer this to my R5 for weddings! Main reason was my wife and myself love taking photos of our children to capture memories of them and had gotten a lot of enquiries from friends to take photos for them. With this we have since decided to start a small business to take family photos as we both love capturing these moments. Since the purchase we were asked to shoot a wedding for a mutual friends family member and without the aid of the autofocus there would have been many photos that missed focus. Absolutely stocked with the camera and can’t wait to use it to further a growing passion.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fast, reliable and easy to use! I brought this camera before heading to Indonesia to do wildlife and conservation work with local NGOs. The way it worked in low light of the jungle was incredible and automatic focus was fast and accurate. I haven’t had a camera that follows its subject with auto focus before and for wildlife photography it was incredibly useful. Combined with the 100-500mm lens and the 24-105mm we were able to get some amazing wildlife shots of endangered Javan gibbons and bentangs while also taking amazing landscape and people photos as well. All round an amazing camera and extremely happy with the purchase.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from amazing tool for my passion after 20 years off the camera from film days on a Pentax k1000 when they were new shooting only black and white. the jump to the digital age was huge for me. staring with the M50 , then RP then R6 and now the amazing R6m2. I could not be happier with the performance of this amazing tool. Great battery life and I use the battery grip so can shoot all night doing startrails and still have plenty of battery left . no overheating issues, great in the hand and the tech images are fantastic whether you need speed or high quality this is a great option for you to have for video or photos !
