Best APS-C CAM
I was looking for a replacement for my aging Sony RX100 VII, thinking of RX10 IV at start till found it's about to be discountinued. Then this 6700 came to my radar: light-weight, compact size with much larger APS-C sensor, improved battery life, ISS, USB-C and weather proof body etc,. seems all the problems of rx100 have been fixed. Proved to be a very happy purchase as I can easily take 600+ photos a day without changing battery; no need to carry an extra micro USB cable or charger as one battery is enough for one day shooting! And the much improved (compared to the on on rx100) EVF - is so clear and convenient that I hardly use the rear panel now.

Sony Alpha a6700 is an amazing camera that I really love taking out with me when I am out and about. I have taken wildlife from backyard and was blown away by the bird auto focus and a recent trip into the Sydney city, the image quality coming from the 70 - 200mm f4 G Lens was spectacular. I would recommend the camera for everyday photography and family outing.

Nice camera
I was a Canon shooter for many many years but because they banned third party lenses, there is not many native for aps-c cameras and full frame are so ridiculously expensive I bought my first Sony camera. Manly I have chose Sony because of very good lens collection at good price and great AF. The quality of this camera is very good the only downside in my opinion is that it’s little bit too small for my hands but it easily fixed by installing frame and I know I could buy full frame body but aps-c is my style. Another thing viewfinder should have better resolution.Overall i think it was very good choice for me to switch to Sony

Practical size
Improved menus, practical control layout with very nice feel.
Aps-c has greater reach with smaller lighter lens. Ideal for travelling or sports etc.
Personal I would like Sony to add the ability to save advanced camera configuration to a custom button along with also any menu item should be allowed to be saved to a custom button but many are not allowed.
It would be nice to switch from say an advanced configuration for sports action back & forth to normal with custom buttons.
Currently you can save camera configuration to memory card as if to transfer between another camera except that formatting the card will of course delete your camera configuration files.

I needed to get out of m43 after 7 years and this seemed to be the right camera to do it. I had to work a lot to find info regarding many of the features, especially regarding LUTs, that I do not need but on a few occasions and finally found a way through online forums. All the new cameras and camcorders suck in terms of viewfinders, especially coming from the era of big camcorders from the 1980-2000, with those 1 inch marvels. Previously I had to use Potkeys LEYE and I am afraid I'll have to go back to buy one of them again, since the Lcd monitor is very low resolution for a loupe. My only criticism to this camera.

All around great camera
The Sony a6700 is honestly such a great all-around camera. It’s beginner-friendly with a super intuitive touchscreen and crazy good autofocus that tracks eyes, animals, and more with no effort. The compact size makes it easy to carry around, and the in-body stabilization helps a lot for handheld shots.
It also shoots stunning 4K 120fps video, has 10-bit color for editing, and comes with all the ports you’d want for vlogging or content creation. Whether you’re doing photos, videos, or both—it just does everything really well. Great for starting out, but powerful enough to grow with you.

I have been using cameras, all different brands and types for what seems like forever, for me this is the best camera body I have ever used. The perfect size, power and features for me. As an APSC camera is punches way above its weight and really is a full frame alternative.
An all round perfect camera system, coupled with some fantastic purpose built lenses, what else can you ask for.

Great features
This was my third Sony Camera and it is the most impressive in terms of the features that it included and the quality of its videos and fixed images. It is also easy to use and makes Photography and video shooting fun and exciting. I am not professional and hardly qualify as an amateur but this Camera has all that i need and plenty more to learn and improve. It is bit on the heavy side for its size and adding a good quality G lense would make it feel even more weighty. That's something that needs to be considered when choosing it.
