I bought this camera because of the huge zoom. I have tried it out for the last few weeks and it does everything I want it to. It may not be the best camera on the market with its smaller sensor size, but i have watched the1080p video on my large tv and it looks perfect.
It has not proven easy to purchase a spare battery and charger -the camera only comes with mini-usb in camera charging. But they seem to be available online.
The zoom blows me away every time and it is still very novel getting awesome footage of the moon.

I bought this camera primarily for bird photography because of its superzoom
and its much lighter than my DSLR with 150-600 lens for walks and travel . Autofocus seems hit and miss and not great on moving subjects and so far a lot of my shots not well focussed -however with a bit more practice and awareness of it’s limitations i think I will like this camera

Nikon 950 - Ultimate Wildlife Shots!
I am so pleased with my new Nikon camera. The ultimate camera for shooting wildlife at a distance. Better than my husbands spotting scope!!!! Easy to use, easy to setup and super great shots. Tip: buy a tripod with it- you won’t be sorry!

The camera had all the zoom you will ever need, plus some! I use it as a substitute to a spotting scope when out hunting and it is invaluable. Couldn’t recommend it more for my intended purposes of use.

So if it doesn't work without a card being provided, your price ad is false. It needs to include the cost of a card ($33 approx) in order to "be" a camera"? Is this a Com Com issue: that the price advertised is what it is, as a fully functioning device?
Thanks for your question! We do have a bundle advertised which includes the SD card as an option, however, we find many customers only require the camera body, as they have other storage media available and are looking to upgrade or replace an existing model. Trust this helps clarify! ^CO

what size card / storage comes with it?
Thanks for your question Steve. While it stores its photos on SD/SDHC/SDXC memory cards, these are available separately, and are not included. It does not have internal storage capability so if no memory card is inserted, the shutter can still be released, however, [Demo mode] is displayed and images cannot be saved. Trust this helps! ^CO
