Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great printer, quality print, fast; weak input touch system Print quality is excellent and ink much less expensive than cartridges. Easy to install ink. Print heads not quite as easy, but not difficult. Installation very poor, poor instructions and difficult to get needed info. I had to call HP support because I could not get it work. Turns out it abandoned the installation half-way through and was too stupid to identify the problem, even when I restarted from scratch. The touch pad was insufficiently sensitive and making it appear that my input was rejected. While on the phone with support, I found using my fingernail instead of pad of finger was necessary to get it to accept the input. Once past this problem, it finally came up and works well.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Bright Light This is a good printer and does everything as advertised. I have it a 4 instead of a five because of two issues. The first is minor. The touch screen is very diminutive as compared to other HP offerings. The second is a major deal for me. There is a light in the front that is very bright and cannot be adjusted. My printer is close to our bedroom and I had to put a 6” piece of electrical tape to co er this large light. I am not exaggerating as to the brightness. One can read a book several feet away from it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great printer with low copy cost per page This replaced a HP 9520. The 7602 was very easy to set-up mechanically, software and internet. Compared to 9520 the 7602 is slower, has only 1 paper feed tray and always on user screen. In fact this is the one feature that I miss. Yes the menu does show up when touch surface, but I have to swipe right several times to make a copy. The print quality is excellent. And of course, the ink cost per page is dramatically lower. This was the main reason for choosing the 7602. Overall satisfied with purchase

Bought this because my trusty old HP printer developed a known fault of not printing Cyan and it was impossible to find the solution on HP's website. Super happy that the ink is expected to last such a long time. Love everything about it except two niggles. 1) Its just as noisy as the last one when it starts to print - sets my two dogs off in a frenzy of barking and attacking the paper as it comes out - I was hoping a newer printer would be quieter. 2) My old printer had a separate feeder for photo paper whereas this one only has a single feeder - really irritating to have to empty the feeder and change the paper size guides just to print a phot and then change them back again afterwards.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Better for the environment and hip pocket First of all the set-up of this printer was relatively quick and easy. I chose to use the HP Smart app for set-up. Initially the app crashed a couple of times but worked smoothly the third time I tried. You can use a manual set-up option if you don't want to use the app. The app itself is user friendly and simple! This printer is fantastic, a great all-in-one for scanning, photocopying and printing. The prints come out quickly and high quality. I love that the ink comes in bottles, is mess-free to fill and doesn't cost as much or uses as much plastic as a traditional ink cartidge. Definitely recommend this printer!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best printer for all around use [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was always searching for a printer that could match all my needs from printing, copying, scanning, and even faxing. I searched and searched and could not get one unit that embodied all the functions needed, until the HP 7602 series. The variety of different size paper, the multi-ports that can be used, the quick access to print from smart devices and print two sided documents. One device that just makes life simpler with an easy setup process, and two years of ink in the box on delivery, with energy efficient to match. In my opinion the best printer for all-round use, the HP 7602 series.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from HP Smart Tank 7602 👍 HP Smart Tank 7602 Checks most of the boxes, it is a replacement for a work horse Office Jet pro 8600. It equals the performance of the printer it replaced except for 2 sided printing comes out unsatisfactory. The paper tray doesn’t lock the paper down for a 8 1/2 x11 on the 11 end it allows for A4 paper to be loaded without any adjustment for paper size. It prints card stock okay and the ink tank is the main selling point of this printer. Over all I am happy with this printer and it is very compact and has a fax capability.

Thanks for your question Paula. The HP Smart Tank 7605 model does not have Duplex or Double sided scan function. The Scanner type is Flatbed and ADF scanner. Hope this helps with your query.
