Rated 5 out of 5 by from Delivers on every level! Really happy with my purchase of the JBL Xtreme 4! It’s a definite upgrade from the xtreme 3. It has better bass and clarity that the 3. Also love the new features in the app! The new EQ presets are cool and you can also use a custom EQ to adjust the sound to your liking. Build quality is great. JBL seems to have fixed the volume curve which was a bug bear of mine on previous JBL speakers they just got too loud to quickly this is a lot more progressive and unlike the other JBL speakers I own it sounds nice and full at low volumes. The replaceable battery is a Fantastic idea. All in all a fantastic well built speaker that most importantly sounds great! JBL I salute you👍👌👏

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Extreme 4, my thoughts. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this speaker to use whenever and wherever I need a great sounding portable speaker. I chose this one because of its looks and the claims from JBL that it’s water proof, dust proof, has a replaceable high capacity battery, and sounds amazing with AI Sound Boost. I’m not sure what AI Sound Boost is but it must work because it really does sound amazing! Smooth deep bass, clear midrange, and bright crispy treble. It really is tough too. The first day I had it it fell off the tailgate of my truck and you can’t even tell! I think my only complaint isn’t with the speaker, it’s with the JBL Portable app. I wish it allowed connecting other types of speakers on Bluetooth to play at the same time. Not that many people can afford 2 JBL Extremes. As far as the speaker goes, A+, ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️, 👍! Good job JBL!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The JBL Xtreme 4 is a great speaker for taking to the beach or a picnic, or to just chill in the yard. The shoulder strap makes it a cinch to carry to wherever you are going. The fact that it is waterproof it makes it a great beachside companion. The sound is amazing it has great bass and highs, and on top of that you can take your phone far from it and it still be connected. Also I love the ability to have up to 3 devices connected at once, add in the fact that it has a built in phone charger makes it a very versatile device. One downside is I wish that it came with some kind of protective case.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from I recently purchased the extreme 4 and I loved the device but this only lasted a day for some reason I couldn’t to Bluetooth I tried everything reset tried connecting to a new device and followed a bunch of tutorials on how to fix this issue and nothing the Bluetooth on this device wouldn’t connect but for the day it lasted it was great definitely what I was looking for perfect for my everyday use couldn’t ask for anything better. Well I decided to return the device and by the way it was a rebuilt/refurbished device looked brand new and worked great for that day it was just the Bluetooth connectivity issue but in the works of getting another one

The sound quality is superb, with deep, resonant bass and clear, detailed sound that captivates the listener. Also Its rugged and waterproof construction makes it perfect for outdoor activities, while the long-lasting battery ensures uninterrupted music enjoyment for really long time. Speaker delivers an unparalleled audio experience every time I am using it. I highly recommend this portable speaker to anyone in search of premium sound quality and durability in a sleek and portable form factor.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from So Good For The Money, BUT…. I had always just put off buying a new Bluetooth Speaker, I had an old JBL thing that would do the job albeit a little tinny. It was when I was working somewhere where I thought some music with me would be good so I decided to update. All I can say is wow! The technology in these little speakers is now mind blowing. Having the app with the graphic equalizer lets you tune you sound to exactly what you want. I’m very happy with the performance of this speaker, BUT…. You couldn’t put a USB charging cable in? I get the price point thing, but don’t be like others and forget the little things that should be in every new purchase.

Between the app that provides more settings to the sound quality, it's amazing. I've used this outside when working cleaning up the backyard and around the garage when working, and the bass is amazing for such a small speaker. Its the perfect size between too small/quiet and too large to take on the go, it's perfect. The app has more controls to link together speakers, change bass settings, updating software and probably more to come. The battery life is pretty awesome too, with the bonus of USB-C charging, so I can use the same power cord that my phone uses.

Refurbished - what is the warranty and what condition is the product in?
