Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great machine! Worth every $$ [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love our coffee machine. We bought this after I had my firs child. We decided to invest in one due to the amount of caffeine needed . We did a lot of research and investigating and concluded in buying a Delongi Specialista. With growing up with a barista machine a mum with a coffee business I had to get something that was decent but didn’t cost a fortune. This machine has ticked all our boxes and we can’t fault it. If we could change one this we would get a silver one instead of black as it scratches very easy and shows but other then that the machine in itself is a dream to use and super easy for even my husband who has no barista experience prior to owning this machine.

After drinking instant coffee and constantly getting roasted( pardon the pun ) by our young coffee drinking children we took the plunge. This machine allows us to produce a very acceptable coffee with no prior experience and it is easy. No manual tamping is great. We are still making a coffee without all the fuss. It took a couple of cups to get the grind right for us . Now it is a quick and easy process to make the coffee.

It takes a little longer to prepare the coffee using this manual coffee machine, but the result is a much better cup of coffee. We're very pleased with out purchase and look forward to many years of use from this De'Longhi coffee machine.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fast and mess-free tamping Outstanding quality, took a few goes to understand how to get the dose right, but perfection since. Machine is really fast, there's basically no time required to heat water on extraction or the wand. Smart tamping sold us on this model vs competitor, and its been worthwhile with zero mess on the bench. Dont need to be a barista to get great coffee,its an easy to use machine. Really happy.

The service was simply magical. We had not received on demonstration when we purchased in Black Friday sales, so the staff member filled in our knowledge gaps, at a steady pace. We now how our wonderful coffee machine operating to perfection, with coffee - both expresso and long black - to perfection. Great machine, unbelievably great service.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Absolutely fantastic with excellent features. I bought this just before Christmas and the only thing I can say is that this machine is absolutely fabulous. I was using a pod machine and I will never go back. It took 4 times to get the bean grind and measurement to the correct setting for my beans (not Delonghi) which for a non barista was pretty simple following the guidelines. I was so impressed I recommended the machine to a friend who bought one too. Absolutely recommend.

The assisted dosage and tampering are so handy! The machine itself is quiet when functioning and is very aesthetic to the eye, which is a bonus. Definitely recommend this one to people getting their first coffee machine and wanting to be their home barista.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect brew every time [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently replaced my old, fully automatic coffee machine, which I had for about 10 years, with the DeLonghi La Specialista Opera. While the previous machine produced excellent coffee, I've found the results from the new manual DeLonghi to be exceptionally good and a significant improvement. There was a slight learning curve initially, particularly in getting the grind settings just right and mastering the milk frothing technique. However, with a bit of practice, each cup now comes out perfectly, though I do find myself making slight adjustments to the grind for each new batch of coffee beans. Overall, I am extremely pleased with this purchase and would highly recommend the DeLonghi La Specialista Opera. It's a fantastic machine that delivers great coffee time after time.
