Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best Coffee Ever I am absolutely loving the Magnifica Evo and I can’t believe it took me so long to get this. I don’t even go out for coffee any more. I savour the moment I can make coffee at home as I know it is always perfect and just how I like it. I love how easy it is to use and the gorgeous creamy taste of the coffee and the frothy milk. I struggled for quite a few years with my old coffee machine from Italy thinking that was the magic one but oh my goodness it doesn’t even compare to evo magnicica. It’s such a beauty love love love this !

Rated 5 out of 5 by from De'Longhi Magnifica Evo - Machine for lazy people A nice looking machine. Watch the videos on YouTube rather than going through the manual for the setup. I think the milk foam could be a bit denser, but all in all I am very happy with the machine, the looks, how it works. I like that you can add beans or ground coffee. I like that the machine washes the milk arm internally and you can put the little container back into the fridge. I am looking forward to buying many local beans on holidays and trying out different beans and grinds.

One precaution, make sure you train all users before they start operating it. 24 hours in my daughter used it and put beans in the wrong slot (very easy mistake at 4am). Now waiting 8 weeks for a user error repair as not a warranty repair.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Be prepared to descale, a lot. It is a good machine, easy to use, and makes good coffee. Those are the pros. The cons are that it uses a lot of water, which leads to having to descale quite often. Even after setting the hard water settings to the lowest, I had to descale the machine twice in 3 weeks. Also, what triggers the descaling is the amount of water that passes through the machine, and it is based on how many coffees you make, which is complete guesswork. I might not have bought the machine if I had known this beforehand.

Are you able to make mocha with this machine

Hi Bram, thanks for your question. You can definitely make a mocha using this, however, you would manually need to combine either chocolate powder or syrup to your cup once the espresso has been produced from the machine. There is no specific mocha setting for this, however, it is as simple as adding these ingredients once the espresso liquid has been developed then you can add your milk. Hope this helps!
