A major value for money upgrade for our growing family
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have had our dryer for nearly 3 months along with a Series 8 washing machine that we bought at the same time. We have used it more times than we ever did for the 14 years that we had our old dryer, especially through winter because it's so energy efficient.
We could never take our clothes out of the washing machine and go straight to the dryer before, where we can now. It's much easier to keep the filters clean, and it does a much better job of removing all the little bits that used to get stuck to our clothes that we used to remove with lint rollers.
Definitely not a cheap product to buy, but already proving that it's worth every dollar.

High quality and superb performance
High quality machine with all that we wanted.
Pros:
- Quiet
- Fast (most programs take 2 hours)
- Reverse tumble (sheets never bundle up)
- Handles hand was woollens (mostly dry, hasn't pilled my merino)
- Drys flax linen
- Truly low temperature, it dehumidifiers a little more than it heats
- Anti-crease post tumble can be extended via the app, complete with reminders!
Cons:
- The lint filter seems to let a little lint around the seal and between the plastic frames
- Seems to leave thick cotton labels wet on Woolen clothing (wool is dry but the labels are not)
- The app has no family sharing capability
10/10, would buy over any other dryer. Will break even compared to traditional dryers due to the number of loads we do. It also actually dries wool, which most dryers cannot do completely.

Awesome Dryer without ruining your clothes!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this a month ago and couldn’t be any happier. This dryer is quiet with so many functions. What’s impressive is when I take the clothes out, they feel soft to the touch and not excessively hot and harsh like other dryers I’ve used. I’ve not noticed any damage or signs of my clothes shrinking which is a win! The water collected can be used to water my plants, fill up my car washer fluid and many other usage that you can think about, just not for consumption.
Overall this is the best dryer I have ever owned!

Long overdue.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this dryer a few months back after having an old style dryer from a different brand. I’ve slowly been converting all major household appliances to AEG due to a great experience. I am just blown away by this dryer. It’s quiet, the energy rating is way better than my old one and it actually seems to be making our towels softer which is a bonus. It also allows for my partner to have some distilled water for his orchids so that’s a neat little bonus too. Wish I had not persisted with my old one for so long.

A really high-tech dryer
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I haven't used a dryer for 10+ years TBH. Surprised at what a long way they've come. Some of the best bits of this dryer: it can automatically take the suitable program from the washing machine and continue. It can safely dry wool and silk clothes listed as hand wash only. It can even steam refresh clothes and has settings for allergy and pet fur options too.
And back to basic functions: it's fairly quiet, quite energy efficient, and easy to operate. Love it.

Easy to use and clean!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Have had for 5 months now and it is so easy to use and clean! We always use our dryer and have a family of 5! The double filtered lint catcher makes cleaning out so easy, the power savings are great as well! No more worries about “if” clothes will be left wet as the sensor always knows what would take longest to dry and because it’s drys at a lower temperature clothes come out dry and last longer. Very happy and would highly recommend!

Efficiency at its best
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Our previous dryer did the job for quite some time but took so long to dry and most of the time some of the clothes were still damp. We've had the AEG dryer for over 1 month now and it has dried every load within the auto sensed time This has saved us energy and time. It has many options and great features but even its mixed setting just gets the jobs done every time. Very happy with the investment.

DO NOT BUY
I bought an expensive AEG heat pump dryer and it died 6 years later (just 1 year outside warranty) and was deemed unrepairable and the credit they gave me to buy a new machine was very little. What's the point of getting a little credit (only to have to spend even more) or spending so much on a high end dryer if it will unexpectedly die 6 years later after minimal usage and cannot be repaired! Not very reliable and I do not recommend AEG.
