Love my new dryer

I bought an expensive AEG heat pump dryer and it died 6 years later (just 1 year outside warranty) and was deemed unrepairable and the credit they gave me to buy a new machine was very little. What's the point of getting a little credit (only to have to spend even more) or spending so much on a high end dryer if it will unexpectedly die 6 years later after minimal usage and cannot be repaired! Not very reliable and I do not recommend AEG.

It dries clothes efficiently using heat pump technology, which saves energy and is gentle on fabrics. The 8kg capacity is perfect for our family's laundry needs. The controls are easy to use, and there are several drying programs to choose from. The sensor prevents over-drying, so our clothes stay in great condition. It also runs quietly. Been very disappointed with apparently high grade dryers and the AEG blows them away.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased this dryer as a much needed replacement for a 3 years old dryer that failed our family.
The old unit having been repaired a couple of times and being a recognised high end brand was so badly broken the repairs were to be more expensive than buying another dryer.
I bought the AEG and so far have been really impressed with the quality and ease of use of the machine.
One of the best features besides the wide entry and many programs is the no filter cleaning with the condenser.

How are the reviews for this Junk so good?
This piece of junk has all the ability to dry your clothes as your average airer. The airer is also better for the environment. Why on earth people could be impressed with a dryer that dries your clothes about as quickly as leaving them out in the open is astonishing. The engineers at AEG need to write every person who has bought this dryer an apology for this horrendously expensive junk.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this dryer with the AEG 8kg washer as my current dryer was older and we thought we would get the pair before the old dryer went amiss, after not having so many features on the old one and this having so many amazing features which took me a bit to understand and get used to, im so happy with my choice of the AEG dryer, its so efficient and i know the clothes come out in better condition that my old dryer, so so happy.

Impressed with improvments.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I previously had a similar Electrolux heat pump drier for many years and upgrading now to the AEG, I have found all lint filter cleaning issues have been simplified. The load weighing dry time calulation is brilliant, And the app that provides phone notifications is handy. I have only had it a month and have not utilised all the different modes but so far 10 out of 10 well done AEG.
