Rated 5 out of 5 by DeeH from Loving my Panasonic 8.5 kg washing machine I've only had this machine a couple of weeks but so far loving it. The tub size is great. Loving going back to a top loader. Hot washes work well when needed, mainly wash cold washes, and the machine calculates how much water is needed, you can adjust if you think needs more or less. The service from Harvey Norman and the Delivery team was fantastic. Great communication from all, and the installation service was well worth it. Set the machine on the foot pads I brought, set it to quick cycle to test, took away all the rubbish and old machine.

Rated 2 out of 5 by Lisa M from Slow, and not that easy to program We have had this machine for 3 weeks and firstly the wants you to measure the water level in litres - how about low, low/med, med, med/high, high as its easy to see how high the washing is in the bowl. Very annoying is there is no hot wash even though its ment to have. The hot was is very luke warm and the warm wash is cold just like the cold wash, yes all pipes are connected as the last washing machine didnt have any problems gettting hot water.

We bought this machine during lockdown and have been disappointed with the spin cycle which seems to be incorrectly set as clothes come out very wet. The machine just stops when there is still 6 minutes left on the spin cycle...with the weather changing it is hopeless trying to dry clothes and sheets etc

Brought this modal about 4 weeks ago and regret buying it,does not spin the clothes enough so takes twice as long to dry clothes and towels are a nightmare to dry.have even tried to just spin them a second time and still comes out damp.don't waste your money on this modal.

Rated 1 out of 5 by Double T from No Hot Wash Extremely disappointed with this washing machine. Despite selecting HOT wash, it consistently fills with cold water, making the “hot” setting basically useless. I tested the hot tap separately and the water is scalding, so the issue is clearly the machine — not my plumbing. A technician checked it and tried to brush it off by saying the machine “mixes cold and hot” and only reaches around 40°C, but the water coming out is nowhere near warm. Even basic cycles feel cold, and the tub hygiene cycle is also cold, which defeats the purpose entirely.

Rated 1 out of 5 by Disappointed from Warning. The machine does NOT have a hot wash Consumers need to be warned this machine does not do a hot wash. For some insane reason on HOT cycle it mixes hot and cold in equal measure. That means in the North Island winter with inlet water at around 6 C max temp will be 30C. In Summer about 38C. Hot water is defined as 55 C

Hi, Does this machine have a warm and hot was option?..and if so is it plumbed directly to the hot tap, or does it heat it's own water?

Great question Dazz. It does need to be connected to both Hot & Cold taps, and is not able to heat it's own water supply. Hot wash is approximately 40°C, Warm wash approximately 30°C, and Cold wash at approximately 20°C and will depend on incoming connection temps. Query with your installer for detailed assistance.
