Experienced barista surprise!
The Breville Dual Boiler (or BDB as it is affectionately called by the owners community) is a truly astounding machine. I was a barista for several years, and when contemplating a home espresso machine, wanted the best performance. This machine delivers at a fraction of the price tag of other machines, with supreme usability and excellent user interface! It’s water tank is SO easy to fill, my shots are gorgeous and my milk silky. Its start-up time is what dreams are made of (just remember to heat the portafilter and turn cup for quick brewing). I also love the programable auto-on time. Packed full of features. I initially planned on upgrading but it’s performance is so excellent that I’m not sure I will!

A machine which delivers what it promises. Powerful steam and quick heating time. Chose this over oracle as I wanted to invest in the breville smart grinder pro and later on an even better grinder. With that combo it took just a few shots to get the taste spot on. Really impressed with the built of the product. Front access for water and ergonomically well thought of minute details makes it a dream machine to use. Overall pretty happy with the purchase so far. Got the extended warranty for the peace of mind as well. Best dual boiler at the cost at which it is available. Thanks Breville!!

Everything you need, nothing you don’t
This machine is the most used appliance in our house. What I love about it is that it gives you every bit of control for making the perfect cup, but doesn’t extend into features that are useless and create additional points of failure. I have used every menu option and feature on this coffee machine.
We had a warranty repair which left us without this machine for a period of time and I couldn’t imagine going back!
The dual boiler allows you to make a second cup quickly like a professional.
I don’t have anything negative to say about this appliance. I have recommended to other friends and they love it too. If only everything were made to this standard!

The Dual Boiler, a step up.
Well worth the upgrade. I can do things with the machine that have improved the consistent quality of my morning coffee. I had a Breville machine before and have enjoyed its reliability for the last decade, so when I decided to upgrade there was no concern about the quality of the replacement. The programmable and manual settings, along with a pressure gauge and PID (whichensures a constant temperature) on the Dual Boiler, make all the difference. I can make our morning coffee while simultaneously steaming milk giving a much better result. The milk steamer is powerful and helps create silky textured milk. Looking forward to years of great coffee.

I’m in Heaven
I upgraded to the Breville dual Boiler in January 2021. It came with the separate grinder. After using an old coffee machine this was heaven as it looks beautiful and was is so easy to use. The coffee taste is delicious and every time I make coffee I know it will be perfect. It is quiet and very easy to keep clean. The digital features are excellent giving an easy to read display and information that you need for care. A great asset to my family with orders of coffee and hot chocolate made with ease and the dual boiler let’s me make two at a time. I do love this machine above all else for the high quality of the coffee

Excellent value espresso machine
I purchased my Dual Boiler in 2017 (at half the current RRP) and it's still going strong in 2024. Highlights are the quick warm-up, std 58mm group, convenience/speed of dual boilers, PID temp control, and reliability after 7 years. I use VST 15g baskets (dosing around 19-20g) and have both std & naked breville-made portafilters. The pressure gauge died after a couple of years, but that doesn't impact anything. There's also some minor rust/blemishes on the 'splash-back', but again doesn't impact the coffee. Overall extremely happy with this purchase and strongly recommend.

Breville BES920
I purchased my first Breville Dual Boiler in 2016, replacing a Sunbeam EM6910. After 8.5 years of solid use, it was a no-brainer to get another one :)

Excellent machine
After having a Rancilio Silvia for 10 years I felt like a change and opted for the Dual Boiler. It took me a few weeks to get to know my machine properly but I'm now at that sweet spot where every cup is delicious. If you like milk based drinks, having the 2 boilers makes it so much quicker to make your coffee, no waiting for the steam boiler to heat up. I did a back flush the other day just to compare to my Silvia which had to be done manually. Just had to program it and it did it itself! I'm very happy with this machine. The fact that it looks really good too is a bonus!
good too!
