Figuring out your Electrolux model
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My new ElectroLux works wonderfully, and I would recommend it. But the operating instructions are NOT AT ALL intuitive! I acquired model EDV605H3WC, and the operating panel on the dryer does not match the operating panel on ANY instructions I could find online, or even the very short manual that came with the new dryer. I eventually photographed the QR code inside the door, which took me online to the manual for my particular model. Setting the dryer temperature requires pressing two buttons simultaneously and moving through steps that are not spelled out at all on the dryer readout panel. VERY frustrating!

Loving the machine

Living on the Mornington Peninsula, it’s very hard to dry clothes outside, especially in winter, and this dryer has changed our lives. We’ve realized how essential it is to have a good dryer, and our Electrolux 6kg, with its sensor capability, is a perfect addition to our home. It’s compact, fits our limited laundry space, and is just the right size for all our drying needs. We have already recommended the Electrolux 6kg vented dryer to our friends and family.

Highly recommend this dryer. It has a rotating function as well as sensors. Each and everytime my clothes come out dry, tangle free and without creases.

My clothes drying time has been cut in half with this dryer.
It is quick and super quiet.
I love the rotating function. I have not had any of washing come out creased or tangled.
I also love that it has a sensor in it to detect how long it needs to run for.
I just chuck it on and walk away knowing that I don't have to check if the clothes are dry as the machine sensors if the clothes are still wet and stops when they are dry.
Highly recommend this dryer for those wanting to save time and money.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Electrolux 6kg UltimateCare 300 / HygenicCare was easy to install and is a breeze to operate with control settings at your fingertips. The Electrolux 300 has every kind of drying setting you could imagine and need from Bedding, Refresh, Hygiene, Delicates, Eco Cottons, Mixed Dry Iron & Cupboard to Cotton Dry Iron, Cupboard and Extra. You just set the dial on the setting you wish to use and then let the machine do the rest. I put in a mixture of different types of clothing made from all types of materials and the Electrolux 300 drys them all equally with the items coming out dry and ready to fold and put straight into the cupboard leaving you time to do what you like to do.

The worst dryer I have ever had in my life!
I am the unfortunate owner of an Electrolux Ultimate care 500 dryer - I have never had a dryer that takes all day to get the laundry dry. A big mistake buying the this model, it barely gets hot, and despite having the "extra anti crease" on - the sheets end up in a creased ball. And now would you believe, 16 days out of warranty, it keeps switching off after 5 minutes - despite there being no lint, or water in the condenser. I absolutely HATE this machine and am going to give it away and buy one that actually dries the clothes with warm air!

We got into our new place and it already had a dryer apparently wasn’t that old but I used it a few times and it broke so we needed to get a new one. We got a bit bigger it’s the 6kg one and I’m absolutely over the moon with this purchase it’s soo quick and easy to do all my laundry now I don’t think I could ever go back to not using one especially living in an appartment with limited drying space and sun

Easy to use, great medium size.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After having my old Electrolux finally stop working, I am pleasantly surprised that our new 6.5kg Electrolux has similar dial features and an easy to read panel. The machine is easily paused to check, add or remove items. Cold winter days allow me to finish off drying or heat through certain items at the end of the day, to enable putting them away freshly laundered. It is also great to see a refresh cycle to air items that have been hanging or stored for a while.

Efficient dryer, minor issues with dry temperature
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Overall the dryer is great, large capacity with multiple programs and dries clothes well. However there's no dedicated display for dry temperature so you can't see what setting it's on. While it's good to have an inversion sticker, unfortunately the label for the dry temp function is incorrect, which makes it super confusing! My label shows 'High ---- Airing.Low', when I'm pretty sure it should read 'Airing.Low ---- High'. A hard copy manual would have been useful, especially as I had to refer to it a lot when trying to figure out the dry temp issue & all the different programs. I ended up printing out the online manual so my family could use it as well. Generally though I'm happy with my purchase, it's better than my old dryer.

Can it be wall mounted upside down with the control panel at the bottom, or is it upright only?
Hi, this Electrolux dryer can be wall mounted upside down. The manual specifically says it can be installed “upside down on a wall” using the mounting kit, and it even includes an option to invert the control panel/display so it reads correctly.
