Rated 1 out of 5 by from I hate it! You can only wash your clothes at 30 degrees. If you want to wash at 40, then you need to use the delicate cycle which only allows you half a load. Cottons are a minimum of 3.5 hours. No choice on length or time for any of the programs. So many programs that are useless and could have been replaced by a choice of length and temperature for normal washes. My 12 year old Electrolux that died was amazing with better options. I hate this new Electrolux and won’t buy this brand ever again. This must have been designed by someone who never does the laundry and has no idea what a 3.5 hour cycle means.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased this washing machine (Electrolux Model 800) about 4 weeks ago to coincide with myself moving into my newly built Granny Flat. I chose it because of it's attractive appearance and compact size and very simple to operate . It fits perfectly in my combined bathroom/laundry room. After the washing cycle, my clothes come out smelling fresh and wrinkle free. It has an excellent warranty program , giving me confidence in choosing a product made by Electrolux.

There are multiple settings from which to choose and easy and simple to select the appropriate one. We have entered a setting in the "favourites" which makes it a very simple process come washing day. Downside-Our previous machine played a little tune when washing completed. This one does not have that feature. Not a big thing but quite useful.

I Love, Love, Love that it doesn't beep and carry on super load when the cycle finishes! I can put a load on delay before bed, and it is done when i wake up in the morning, without being woken up by a beeping in the early houors of the morning! Has made my routine more efficient with a house of working parents and teenage boys!

It has been excellent with a very large capacity giving an exceptionally clean wash and good enough dry allowing less time on the clothesline. It is very gentle on the clothes. And and is good on power saving. Highly recommend to others.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is the 3rd Electrolux front loader washing machine I have purchased and I am in my 70's. My last one lasted 7 yrs. Great reliable machine. Washes the clothes beautifully clean and gently, no twisting, rips, extreme creasing etc. Also the machine is very quiet and doesn't disturb neighbours in my unit block. Very happy with purchase.

That's the worst advice I've ever trusted. I owned an Electrolux 8.5kg Vapour Action System for years, and I never had any issues with my washing. However, it got worn out after a decade of usage. I took the advice and purchased a cheap washing machine that only cost half the price of my current Electrolux washing machine. It broke twice and was replaced by the seller once within a month. The experience was so horrible that I immediately returned the washing machine for a refund and bought this Electrolux 8kg UltimateCare 500 Front Load Washing Machine. This washing machine is stylish, power+water efficient, stable, durable and washes so well! After this incident, I'm very certain that I'll never go for other brands ever again.

It's a nice and quiet washing machine as well Definitely worth the money spent
