Rated 1 out of 5 by from Disappointing! I have recently purchased this dryer. It hardly gets hot, it's taking hours to get my laundry dry. I have spent all day drying 8 sheets and 2 duvet covers. The dryer is barely hot when I open the door and when I took the sheets out they still seemed a little damp and I am only putting one sheet in at a time! I am massively disappointed (and bad tempered) having spent all day trying to get this laundry done which, in my previous machine, also an Electrolux, I would have had this done in half the time. Electrolux, if you are reading this review, please tell me I am doing something wrong and there is a way to fix this and making it warmer! I know it's an Energy saver but goodness me - give me a hotter dryer anytime. This is ridiculous.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Broke within 3 weeks, family of 2 people. We bought this dryer as a luxury purchase to get clothes dry during winter and 3 weeks it worked fine, everything dry, no problems. Then all of a sudden it had a loud thumping noise and operated at a sound where I could hear it upstairs in the bedroom. I later turned it off worried neighbours would complain. After calling electrolux we got someone around and they located rubber and metal shavings all throughout the unit and the repair person was baffled as he'd never seen it before. However, when the replacement unit came, the delivery guy said yep we've replaced tonnes of these recently. That doesn't give me much confidence considering electrolux is a premium brand. If this one breaks I'll be asking for a full refund and going with a different brand for sure.

I had the Electrolux heat pump 8kg that I purchased 8 years ago. Wasn’t performing like it once did so I got the same brand again. I trust the brand.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Smooth & Efficient Drying – Happy with Purchase Only a few days in, but the new dryer is performing perfectly. Clothes are drying evenly and efficiently, with no issues at all. The programs are easy to use, and features like anti-crease/easy iron are very helpful in reducing wrinkles, which saves time on ironing. I’ve also noticed it runs relatively quietly and handles different types of loads well. I’ve had an Electrolux washing machine for years, and now with this dryer, it’s a really great combo. Very satisfied with the upgrade so far.
