Great for readers!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a great tablet for reading and/or writing. It has a lot of features and options. This is great for work, school, or pleasure such as making lists, notes, or journal keeping- which I do a lot of all! The battery life is great so far and lasts a very long time between charges. I guess the battery life will be different with everyone with the usage of their tablet. The size of the tablet is great and comfortable to hold while reading and not heavy like some tablets. I also like the pen it comes with to write and make notes, it writes smoothly. I have not experienced any lagging which is wonderful!

As a busy mom, the added benefits of the notebooks, lists, all in one is amazing. I love that the pen never needs to be charged. It takes barely any pressure and I can make numerous notebooks, lists to keep me organized, all while keeping me up with my books. I read at least a minimum of two a week!!! I'm so excited to keep trying out all the features this kindle has to offer. The pen is magnetized to the side, Charges quickly, there's just to many fun things to list!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my first kindle and I am very happy with it. The screen is easy on the eyes and the battery life is good. I don't notice any lag when performing actions. I do wish you could supplement the onboard hard drive, as this one is locked at 16 gigs. You can't add a microSD or anything like that. Though I will say, the average book takes up almost no hard drive space. I do not foresee myself filling this up to the brim. If that is a serious concern for you, go with one of the higher capacity models. As far as accessories go, there are plenty out there. I can't wait to order a gooseneck stand, a case and a Bluetooth page turner for bedtime reading.

Easy to use
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my first kindle ever and I really like it. This is a great first gen kindle. Overall this is very easy to learn how to use and operate. The screen is bright enough to be able to read in the dark without straining my eyes. While it would be great to write on the pages with notes, you can make post it notes to house your thoughts and ideas. The battery life lasts a very very long time and charges pretty quickly as well. My favorite part is being able to write on pdfs. This is definitely a great product.

It's been a while now that I have been using my original Kindle, but I am the type that loves to write and take notes during the majority of my reading so this new Kindle fits my style perfectly! The interface is larger, and very user friendly. The response when writing feels seamless, and much more natural than I originally expected. Overall, 10/10 would recommend who love to read and write. This has been an absolute upgrade in my life!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve never had a kindle but I was super excited to try this for the scribe features! I have so many books but it’s gotten hard with moving to tote them all around! I really like being able to take it with me and be able to pick a new book without carrying a bunch around. I also love to write notes constantly so this makes it very easy to avoid ruining my favorite books with notes.
The magnetic pen keeps me from loosing it and also works very well. Easy hand hold for the pen and holding the pad as well.

Not only am I able to get more books easily but now I’m able to get more books to read to my grandchildren at bedtime from my own home and feel closer to them since they don’t live near us. They get excited when we read to them and now we are able todo it more often because of the convenience of having choices at our fingertips plus able to make print bigger. And with scribe can make notes of their favorite parts. Great device.

I normally don't jump right out and buy the newest trend , mainly because I like to see how others feel about new products but because I love the kindles I couldn't resist. This thing is so freaking cool. I love being able to keep my notes right there on the scribe. The quality is amazing, it's big enough that I have no issues reading and light as a feather.
