Disappointed by storage from
Sd card useless
Having the option to expand the memory is great... but only if it can be accessed. Which it can't for games and the like. So if you want to entertain yourself or the kids by installing memory hungry games you will be limited by the size of the internal storage. Irrespective of whether this is caused by the design of the tablet or the apps, it makes the expandable memory tag line a bit misleading. Apart from that, a nice tablet for basic functions.

A Downgrade From My Tab A 10.1 (2016)
I'm very disappointed with this tablet. I "upgraded" from a working Samsung Tab A 10.1 (2016). Frankly it's a downgrade. The most important thing on a tablet is the quality of the screen. The A7 colours look completely washed out. Secondly the screen looked instantly dirty from unboxing. I don't know whether this is dirty screen effect or if it's a fingerprint magnet. Thirdly, and this was the biggest shock, the screen on my old Tab A 10.1 (2016) gets much brighter - approximately 100% brighter. I can't read the A7 in bright sunlight like I can my old Tab A 10.1 (2016). The screen on my old Tab A 10.1 (2016) is better in every respect - it's far more colour accurate, it gets much brighter, it doesn't look dirty. The sound on the A7 is mediocre even with Dolby Atmos on - and that's being generous. I don't notice any difference in speed day to day despite the A7 having 1GB more RAM. In fact when I checked Device Maintenance on both tablets the A7 has less available RAM. In short - do not buy the A7 to replace a working Tab A 10.1 (2016). You will be disappointed.

My second Samsung tablet and this one is better.
Great value tablet perfect screen size and great sound. Clear picture perfect for watching your favourite shows or playing games. Keyboard works well and touch sensitivity is good. Bought with complimentary cover and stand. Love the magnet holding it to just the right angle.for watching my shows online.

Not good for streaming video
When using streaming services, Foxtel Go, NBA, 7Plus, the video stutters and is unwatchable, especially on live sport. A Google search showed others have had the same issue. Samsung support not helpful so will be returning for a refund. Very disappointed in both hardware and support.

Bought this tablet because of its expandable storage. SD card does not allow you to move game files over. Bought this tablet wanting to install multiple games and now I can only download 2 games. What a waste... and a lot of money...
