Rated 1 out of 5 by from Cute but faulty desig After a few days of using it, I stopped sending this water bottle to my pre-schooler. The straw gets stuck into the lid all the time so my daughter has difficulty drinking water from this. One incident during lunch time that led me to completely retire this bottle was when my daughter spilled all the water into her lunch because she was trying to open the lid due to the straw being stuck! She was not able to eat after the water accident. It was such a pain using this bottle! I hope I get a refund.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Cute, Easy for Toddlers, But smelly&falling apart I have tried these bottles for my now 3 1/2 year old now 5 times. Every single one has peeled apart with various times washed, and retained stink even when just used with water. I have taken them completely apart soaked in every cleaner from extra strength kitchen soaps to vinegar and completely dried but would still get the stink. SkipHop should join forces with a successful water bottle brand to make these.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from HORRIBLE NEW DESIGN We have 4 of these cups (3 old design and 1 new). My kids love these cups. Our older 3 work great which is why I bought one more, not knowing the design was changed. The new design is terrible. The straw seems too long for the lid and it always gets stuck. Even worse, the vacuum seal (or whatever) causes constant spills. We finally get the lid open and milk shoots out of the straw- super annoying.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Previous Design Was Better! Like others, we have had issues with this bottle overflowing with each use. Didn't think the transition from bottle to cup could be more annoying, but there we go! We bought a bat and shark bottle in the original design and they never gave us issues. This straw is also more narrow than the prior design and can't fit over the top-shelf "pegs" in our dishwasher, so we have to handwash the straw. Kiddo loves the dog but this bottle wasn't worth the money. Skip(hop) this item and save your money, folks.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Helped my 2 year old through a cold It was my daughter’s first time dealing with a cold. I kept this water bottle by her side, by the bed, at arm’s length from either one of us for the 2 weeks she wasn’t feeling well. Every time she coughed, she knew to grab for her bottle and with each sip, I could tell that it was helping keep the mucus down. I tried other cups and bottles while I was cleaning this one and it just didn’t work as well. I’m on here now to buy a couple more and saw such a low rating here and didn’t understand why so I had to give my two cents. One person whined that the graphic came off. *eye roll* get over yourself.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from New straw design malfunctioning spills every time The new design is not working well, beverages shoot out of the straw and cause spills everywhere, every time we use this bottle. It’s become a real hassle. Not recommended. Not buying this product again.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Toddler loves this bottle [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Our daughter cold turkey quit taking a bottle, so we needed a way to still have her drink her milk and DHA. I saw this bottle and figured we give it a try. It has been more than 18 mo that she has been using this bottle. The closure keeps tight and does not open when traveling in a bag. The ease of my daughter to open and close the lid to expose and hide the straw makes her feel proud. The exterior of the bottle has not faded or chipped, still looks brand new. Would definitely recommend for a child to travel, increase independence and be done with a bottle.
