To help you start off your day right, the La Specialista Prestigio offers three preset recipes that let you instantly craft espresso, coffee, or long black.
It incorporates a Dynamic Pre-Infusion that intelligently adapts to your selected grind size, ensuring that the coffee grounds are soaked gently and evenly.
Enjoy a hot cup of coffee every time! It features an Active Temperature Control which keeps an optimal water temperature. Furthermore, it has three temperature profiles that you can quickly access on the front panel.
Thanks to its Smart Tamping Station, you’ll be able to achieve consistent and precise tamp pressure without the mess. It also comes with a 19-bar pump to deliver rich, smooth results.
Engineered with Sensor Grinding Technology, this espresso machine precisely provides the right coffee dose and ideal ground texture. It also equips a pressure gauge that enables total extraction control.
It includes My Latte Art steam wand, making it easy to add velvety microfoam to your drinks. For superior steam performance, it also utilises an independent heating system for milk*.
Easily manage your espresso machine as it comes with a descaling function**, active rinsing, removable drip tray, and filter holder with Easy Clean baskets.
Using its My Menu button, you can create and save your favourite recipes with ease. Additionally, it comes with a dedicated hot water outlet to help in preparing tea and infusions.

Rated 1 out of 5 by Andy T from Terrible I bought this product, for about $300 more than the current advertised price. The first one wouldn't power up at all so a 75km round trip to Harvey Norman. I have wasted a couple of Kilos of beans playing around with the settings. It makes no difference. Fine or course grind, changing the dose with my second favourite beans it over extracts leaving me with a few dribbles of coffee in my cup. With my favourite beans it's always under extracted. I have a coffee machine going in a skip soon if someone wants one.

Rated 1 out of 5 by Too much work from Don’t buy this Worst coffee machine I’ve ever used. You need to be a coffee engineer to get a decent coffee. Too much work. Haven’t been able to get one decent coffee. Absolutely ridiculous working out the colours of the beans etc. Even a trained barista would hate this machine.

Rated 1 out of 5 by Delonghisucks from Doesn’t work. Returned 3 times. First time the pressure dial doesn’t move. Second time the front knob snapped off immediately as it’s cheap plastic AND the water doesn’t pump through. Third time the water still doesn’t pump through. It supposed to prime by pumping through the first time. But two machines didn’t. DeLonghi support very quickly said it was an issue and sent me back to the store.

This machine is easy to clean and use and makes a fabulous coffee without making a mess. My teen/adult children use it every day and I clean it every second day. Perfect for us.

Is there a water level indicator as the tank appears to be enclosed and it would be too difficult to see from top filler if machine is at the back of bench?

Hi Dave. As the water tank needs to be removed to be filled up, the manufacturer suggests filling the water tank each time the machine is used. As a safety feature, there is a "no water" warning light if the water level is too low or tank is empty. There is no side water level indicator, so you will need to check each time you use the machine. Hope this helps

hey when i put the porta filter in to get filled from the hopper it over fills with ground coffee how do i adjust this

Thanks for your question. This can be found on page 20 of your instruction manual. You would look to adjust the dial on B2 until you get the desired height for your perfect cup. It is also recommended to grind only a quantity of beans sufficient for immediate use, so that the coffee will always be fresh. The grinding level by default is set to 5, if this is too fine or coarse then you would adjust to suit your tastes. Hope this helps!
