Disappointing
Honestly, what a poor product this is.
I normally use a soft hand brush for my trainers and thought this item may be ideal.
In my opinion the rpm is too slow and it is not powerful - if you push hard on more stubborn stains the head will stop rotating.
Can’t get a good lather going either compared to my hand brush.
I watched some of the review videos on YouTube and thought hmm it looks a bit pathetic but I will be able to do a better job.
I couldn’t do a better job, it IS pathetic.

Its just ok
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I thought this was a very flimsy product. Used it on my dirty trainers and soon as you apply any pressure the brush stops spinning. It's OK for light dirt but not great for filthy shoes. I would not recommend this product Im afraid.

A brush does a better job
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This sneaker cleaner does the job but for me it took longer for me to clean my foot wear with this device than it usually does when I use a brush. It comes with different brush attachments for different materials and cleans to an ok standard. I feel that a brush gives a deeper clean and gets more dirt out of the shoes.
This sneaker cleaner is a simple tool that produces ok results.

Very easy to use
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Overall, this product is good and is doing his job. It cleans well. It has 3 attachments for different materials and different parts of the shoes so it doesn't damage trainers. It is very easy to use and change the batteries as well. Batteries are included, the instructuons is easy to read as well. It is only one cons of this product-it should be more powerful, because when you press the brush more, the head stops working. In overall I satisfied and recommend this product.

Not a very powerful cleaner
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The cleaner is ok to use on very lightly soiled trainers. If you are expecting miracles with crusted in dirt then this is not the thing for you. It does however polish leather shoes beautifully without any effort.

So effective!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This makes cleaning my trainers (and shoes) so easy without having to risk damaging them in the washing machine. I've used this on two types of footwear, a leather pair and a canvas pair and am amazed at how clean they were after use. The different heads/brushes meant that I could easily clean both pairs and have them coming up like brand new, and the oscillating head let me get in to any creases and seems really easily so as well as being effortless, this is extremely thorough. That battery was absolutely fine, I cleaned both pairs on one charge.

More than a wipe down!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This product overall is great, it does a much better job that a wipe down! As you can see from my before photos, I regularly used to use wipes to go over my shoes, as I typically wear them most days and they can get dirty quick. However, with a simple wipe down, they are still left looking a little worst for wear. After trying the sneaker cleaner, you can see a clear difference in how the shoes look, from before and after! My shoes look brighter, and they feel more hygienic, compared to a wipe down. The level of clean I would compare to that of putting your shoes through the washing machine. I personally do not like putting my shoes through the washing machine as it can damage the drum inside, so to find a product that can leave my shoes just as clean and hygienic is great! The machine in itself is easy to use, and comes with 3 attachments to ensure you have the right cleaning tool, without damaging your shoes. The instructions are very easy to use, and clear on what attachment to use with different materials and the different parts of the shoe. I have given this product a 4 instead of a 5 because the attachment bristles are not long enough to get into deep ridges, and requires a little extra work. I am on keen on the product using batteries instead of being rechargeable, but I guess this keeps the product cost down. The button also doesn’t seem to work every time I press it, and takes a little while to get used to the circular motion the machine works in, and how to glide it across your shoes effortlessly. I would recommend to new users not to press down hard, as it is like an electric tooth brush where it does the work for you, and pressing down can hinder the work it does. Overall, it is a great product, and does exactly what it says on the tin!

Ok, but could be a lot better
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I wish I was really impressed by this, but the truth is, I’m just not.
Opening the box was a pretty cool experience, the packaging and style of this cleaner is nice, it felt and looked really high end.
Love the fact that batteries were included and also that there are different heads to use. It’s super quiet and easy to store too which is a bonus.
I initially used it on a slightly dirty pair of white leather trainers, used a bit of soapy water to dip the brush in and away we go, worked well, removed most of the marks, but like I said, these were very lightly marked trainers. I was so impressed, I figured I’d clean my fellas work trainers (he’s a postman for reference, so his footwear can get quite a mess!). Unfortunately this is where it all started to fall apart, you just can’t put enough pressure on the trainers (or whatever footwear your cleaning) to actually remove any built up dirt or heavy marks, as soon as you press down the motor stops. I guessing this relates to the fact that it’s battery operated and not a rechargeable (or corner) item, there’s just not enough power of something battery operated. I had to give up on using this on my fellas shoes and go back to a manual brush which removed the dirt with no issues. Since then I’ve tried it as a polish applicator for my work shoes and it works a treat, buffs them up nice and shiny!
To sum it up, as a trainer cleaner it’s pretty useless, as a shoe polisher, it’s fantastic….. abbé Phillips should just change the name (or make it rechargable!)
