Good Value Ice Cream Maker
I've had a cheaper machine before that was noisy and took ages, with the motor in the base this little beastie is gruntier and quieter. By freezing the bowl at least overnight and chilling the creme anglaise well before churning it's delivering Ice Cream in about 20 minutes. Every attempt has been successful so far too!
If you want a good value, reliable machine this is it I reckon.

Pretty good little machine.
A good little machine. Its not as loud as I thought it was going to be, but you can't really watch TV while it drones on in the same room. I tend to freeze a few ingredients before adding them, just to speed things up, as I'm impatient, but it does need a few hours of freezing as it is a very runny softserve texture when done. The blade doesn't scrape the sides, but that's not difficult to do and doesn't effect the quality of the icecream. Overall, I'm stoked with this.

Awesome Ice Cream Maker
The Cool Scoops ice cream maker was a gift from a friend in the US. It's so easy to make soft, creamy ice cream and control your own ingredients, especially sugar! It can make frozen yogurt, frozen custard, sherbet and all kinds of frozen treats!
Cleanup is very easy because all of the surfaces are molded in ultra smooth plastic and metal. Its powerful motor can churn in pecans, walnuts, chocolate chips or fudge swirls! It's a great value at Harvey Norman!

So simple to use
Perfect for what we needed. We couldn't find an ice cream we liked so thought we'd try making our own. Didn't disappoint. It comes with recipes, and there are plenty of recipes online. We keep the bucket in the freezer ready to use whenever we want sorbet, gelato or ice cream.

Excellent compact machine, this is a great ice cream maker whether your making a philly style ice cream or a creamy custard style. Perfect for sorbets & it takes up less room on the bench.

Infuriating
Was given as a gift, works well but the design leaves something to be desired. To get ice cream out you have to scrape it all off the mixing arm, very slow & tedious & ice cream starts to melt as you are doing it.
