Rated 5 out of 5 by from Ring Stick Up Camara I purchased these about a week ago and so far they are awesome I havent joined the subscription so we shall see if they work the same after the free trial ends but I am sure they will as I havent signed up to the free trial so nothing should hopefully change , Night time is great as well I installed 3 outside and 1 inside couldn't be happier also easy to set up

can these be located outside?

Thanks for your question. Yes, this can be mounted inside or outside. It has a removable battery pack or you can connect it to the optional solar panel (sold separately). It also has an integrated mounting base/stand with adjustable angle and can sit freestanding or mount to a wall. Hope this helps!
