Let down by very poor wi-fi signal
Purchased a 4 Camera 4 Channel 4K Ultra HD Wi-Fi NVR Security System last month, because I needed wi-fi signal but not battery power. Since then I’ve been trying to get a wi-fi signal better than “Low” (one bar), which results in a poor quality, delayed picture.
I occasionally get 2 bars (still ‘Low’) from the 2 cameras located less than 5.5mtrs from the NVR, with a single brick wall between. Fitting a coax cable, to extend the antennae of the most important camera, ie. the one covering the front yard, resulted in signal loss that almost cancels the signal gained by the coax.
My limited use, so far, suggests that the system is significantly let down by the components used to provide the (very poor) wi-fi signal. I would not recommend this system.

Rubbish, don't waste your money
We have had this for a couple of years now, and I would not recommend it to anyone it ghosts people it freezers all the time; it doesn't pick up moments unless it's a tree or a plants cost way to much for something that just won't work properly.
To access it on the mobile is impossible most of the time as it just keeps buffing, then it's too late after whatever you are trying to check on. We got 4 cameras, and three are out the front in different spots. One may pick up move ment the other will miss it. It also cuts out halfway through recording what's happening, then you have missed it all.

Don’t waste your money
Bought this do everything system and now I’m sorry I wasted my money. Straight out of the box it didn’t work, paid to get it sent to Melbourne where the tech said the antenna had come loose.
Just got it back and it still refuses to connect to the app, which you have to in order to access the features.
see for yourself on the apple App Store and read the reviews there too before you buy.
My advice is to buy a different brand.

Will not recommend as a home security system
I use security cameras for more than 10 years. Decided to upgrade to this system. My old cameras have better way to setup, and to use! It means that industry doesn't learn Cameras are now 4K, but it depends on the stream and signal! Using app you have to search both streams for playback - and this is not fast!
1. MESH doesn't work, no way to use your WiFi network. AP mode is very weak. Reset is affects all cameras, not just one. 2. The app is just a viewer - no way to setup cameras. In 'no disturb mode' no alerts are retrieved. In other words, you won't have any idea, if there were alerts! I expect no notifications but alerts must be there. Using a playback is not a solution (too slow, and you must check two streams!) 3. E-mail alert has only one snapshot - no way to change. One snapshot is not enough to separate true & false alerts. 4. Too many false alerts (80+ per day with just 1 true). If sensitivity is low, then less false alerts but no true either! Area of detection can be shrink to remedy, but if you wish to track all? 5. NO external access to NVR or cameras from PC. Monitor is a must. 6. Mounting brackets are not 180x180x180 degree. 7. No help aka tool-tips, documentation must be read, com'on...
Conclusion: I won't recommend as a home security system. These are just 4K web cameras.

Wonderful quality
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am really impressed with how great this camera setup is. The Secure Alert 4 camera 4 Channel 4K Ultra HD Wi-Fi NVR security system was a wonderful addition for my family. We live in a busy part of town and this helps us feel more secure.
Setup was quite easy and recording quality is amazing and crystal clear, Only issue I saw was the bracket you use to mount but is a simple fix if you loosen a few screws and mount the angle you need.
Overall this is a fantastic setup and worth every bit of the price

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm very impressed by this security camera system. The picture is crystal clear and much better quality then my previous camera. You can also talk to it if you need to talk to a delivery person or what not. We installed one in front of the garage, one on the deck, and two on each side of the property. My husband was able to mount and install each camera pretty quickly. Its great being able to watch the feed from my phone since there are days my son is home alone.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I absolutely love the security with these cameras. They are easy to set up. They are wireless however they do need an outlet. The WiFi has to be centrally located or it’s not the best. I still have a problem with that every once & a while. The clarity is wonderful with a lot of detail. The night vision is great. I like that it doesn’t require a subscription like the ones I had in the past. Overall nice cameras for sure. Just my WiFi is a little off.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been using this security system for only a couple of weeks and I love it. I think I’ve used it more to keep an eye on the dog. I got a small tv just so I could keep it on screen all the times. Love that I can view on my phone when I’m not home. The cameras work great and provide a good view so you can notice small details. I had someone else install the cameras for me but they didn’t take long at all. Overall it’s a great system!
