Best by far ![This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I couldn’t believe how simple and how light this is to use. It comes in a smart travel case and easy to follow instructions. With soft rubber grip it’s comfortable to hold and glide across the face. Not as loud as some other ones which is great. There is no pulling or catching hairs, it’s a really smooth trim. It is easy to clean as you just wash the head under the taps and comes with a small cleaning brush. Obviously you can change the setting to different hair length for longer or shorter hair. I would definitely recommend this to someone new to beard trimming and to those more experienced.

The best yetOver a period of maybe fourteen years this is now the third beard trimmer I have had, and each time I've bought a new one I've upgraded in quality and price. The Philips Beard trimmer 9000 Prestige Beard trimmer BT9810 is by far the best one I have used. You definitely get the quality by paying more. The stainless steel trimmer feels robust and gives you the confidence that it won't break like some of the cheaper plastic versions do.
The battery lasts for ages. I recently went on holiday for two weeks and charged the trimmer before I went, and when I came home it had still only gone down by one bar!!!

A fantastic beard trimmer[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I chose to give this 5 stars because I was very impressed with the quality and the fantastic results.
The Philips Beard trimmer 9000 Prestige is really well made with a steel coating and really nice smooth grip it is easy to manoeuvre for that close trim and enabling you to angle it correctly for a great finish. I was also very impressed with the compact case and charger including the 3 level battery indicator. I have purchased many beard trimmers for my partner in the past but I can say this is probably bar far the most sturdy and well made.

Excellent product and delivers the perfect shave5/5 for the precision, design and battery life of the product. There's many cutting depths to choose from, I have a stubbly beard and I put it on 5.8 with the shave guard on and it delivers the perfect shave. It doesn't leave patches like other shavers I've used in the past. I've had this product since November 2022 and have only charged it twice since new. I shave once every four days so the battery lasts forever. It says to rinse under a running tap and to oil the blade regularly - I have NOT done either yet as the little brush your supplied with is enough to clean it after each shave in my opinion and the blade is still good without the need for the lubrication fluid.

Good for stubble[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Good product, works well wet or dry. It is an efficient shave for stubble, body hair. There is an integrated comb made of metal, so it won't bend. Slide it and trim from 0.4 to 5mm without additional plastic comb. It works amazingly on my dense beard. There is a battery indicator showing you how much battery you have left. If you want to trim longer beard you have to switch to long beard comb and follow the blue numbers, pretty easy. The design is really ergonomic and very easy to clean. I am pretty impressed.

What a amazing trimmer[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The trimmer came very well packed and all the items was inside, instructions on booklet was clear and easy to understand. I wasn't sure about the design but once trimmer was charged I gave it a go. To my surprise the way you hold it and trim your beard it actually is a very good design. Blades are nice and sharp, doesn't pull on beard. The only miner detail I have would be that it's lowest setting is 0.4
It would be nice to have a zero setting but like I said just a miner detail. I would highly recommend this product.

Does what it says it will do. Bosh.[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The one great thing about this Philips prestige beard trimmer 9000 is the all metal head and the precision trimming. So that's two things the metal head, the precision trimmer and the battery charge life. So the three things, the metal head,precision trim, battery life and close control.

So in summary the metal head is a world of improvement from plastic guides on other trimmers or hair products , so so much better, no bending of the plastic as it's metal. Quality build. Charged once and used it 10 or 13 times now without charging again. The gripping point to hold the trimmer right next to your face gives great control or movement. The precision trimmer cuts all to the same length, whatever length setting you use.

AmazingWhat is so unique about this beard trimmer is that if you use it it without the plastic attachment, (which is used the longer beard trimming), the twin blades move apart according to the length of beard trimming you require, resulting in a highly accurate trim. I have never seen this before or on any beard trimmer that I have purchased.
Don't waste your money on any other beard trimmer, this is the only one you're ever going to need for life and as well as that, once charged the battery seems to go on forever.

Can this work for regular shaving as well as a beard trimmer. Does it plug into mains power or is it battery operated

Hi Allan. You can use this beard trimmer with or without a cord. You can get up to 120 minutes of cordless trimming time from a full 1-hour charge, or charge for 5 minutes for a quick trim. The trimer is designed to trim as opposed to a close shave. But having said that, it can trim down to 0.4mm. Hope this helps
