Don't believe the hype
I bought this today and am disappointed by it. It's pretty underwhelming and doesn't live up to the product description.
The Tile Pro is easy to set up but that's about the only good thing about it.
Despite claiming to have a range of "up to 400 feet", the Tile Pro loses connection after about 30 feet or even sooner if it is behind an obstacle of any kind. This means the Tile Pro really isn't much use for locating missing items or pets (which it claims to be good at). Once the Tile Pro moves out of its meagre range, it's gone.
The next problem with it is that even if the Tile Pro is in range, it's location will usually be only very vaguely indicated on the map in the app. The location accuracy is very low most of the time. I often found the location shown in the app was 20+ metres away from the actual location. Again, this means it isn't much good for helping you to find missing items or pets. Disappointing.
To it's credit, the Tile Pro does contain a "paging" feature so you can make it beep loudly to help you locate it, so that's something I guess.
