Trouble to recognize fingerprint
I bought this on 4/01 and not happy with it. Forget about using fingerprint unlocking function, it's too annoying, it's hardly work . I have dried fingers so it never work , and even after moisturizing my thumb it also taking a few attempts to unlock. I've done some research online and it said to clear old data, done it still didn't work . With Samsung , I've paid $1767 for this piece of crap , why have a feature if doesn't work properly.

Poor experience with S23 ultra and Samsung NZ
This is my first samsung after using other android phones for more than 12 years. I bought S23 ultra and thinking it is going to be a flagship compared to my previous phones. But only camera is better than my previous mid range phones, but not good as expected, when zooming, 2x also, the quality drops a lot. Fingerprint and facial recognition aren't fast enough.
And some of the apps are reporting gps loss now and then. When I contacted Samsung via email, wasn't helpful. Then on chat, they suggested to clear the data for the app. When I clear the data, it seems to be better and again happening, so have to keep clearing the data for the apps to use this so called flagship. Since the issue is happening with multiple apps, it can't be app issue (those apps are working on other phones).
I have been contacting Samsung NZ for last 2 months, they want me to take the phone to their far away workshop on working hours or send the phone and be waiting until it comes back without a phone. They emailed the below.

Beast of a phone
I upgraded from an S22 Ultra and I can tell you it is well worth it. The camera is surprisingly better than what is expected (specs-wise very similar but don't let that fool you as they use all new hardware) and the speaker is definitely an improvement on an already very good S22 Ultra.
I highly recommend the S23 Ultra. It will be a beast for at least 2-3 years.

Can only send group texts up to 20 people
This newest Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra is unable to send messages to more than 20 people at once. I have spoken to Samsung support who advised there is no way around this as it is system related.
Would not suit people managing SMS groups of 20 or more.

I brought phone 3 months ago lost on the farm looked everywhere only paddock I didn't look in was covered in water found it two days later had been under water 2 days covered in mud took it home dried out and it's going fine good as new great product highly recommend đź‘Ś
