Excellent product but not as good as its predecessor!Excellent sound quality, conformable design for extended use. Brilliant for listening to talk radio as well as to music. Great range - advertised as up to 100m. In my test worked up to 50 metres away from the house through an external wall to the house.
I was however disappointed in the length of the 'audio in' cable. This 5200 model was a direct replacement for a 5100 model which had provided 2 years solid service. I was disappointed to discover the shortened audio in lead of the newer 5200 model therefore requiring an extension lead to reach the stereo socket.

Great valueI bought this for heaing assistance with various tv programs, one for me and one for my mother. We both find the headphones light and comfortable to wear despite their apparent bulkiness. The sound is very clear and though the controls are tiny and hard to see they work well. Tip, if using with a tv, use Audio Out not headphone outlet if you want the tv sound in use for your partner at the same time. The 3.5mm jack is accepted by some tvs but I bought an adaptor at an electronics outlet for one tv which had the red and white Audio Out port, a small 3.5mm to red and white RF cable.

Perfect to reduce the noise in a house.We have purchased these wireless headphones in the past. Now we have some for the whole family. Perfect for TV watching. With two channels, it means that 2 different systems can be used around the house. Someone can be watching TV in the same room that someone else is listening to a hifi stereo. Similarly with two TV's in operation around the house.

Frustratingly fails to deliver on promiseWorked OK for a couple of months with static interference but got used to that Still OK is you sit like a statue. Has now completely died and still only 6 months old with only 3 months use. Now have to wait up to 5 days for product support and then no guarantee.

Incredibly good for both the user and any other TV viewers in the room!These headphones have given me enormous pleasure since I purchased them for my husband. Firstly he loves to use them as he can hear so much better. Secondly, I can choose whether I wish to have my volume at my level or totally off. Thirdly, whoever is wearing them can wander around the house and still get brilliant sound. I do occasionally use them if I do not want to disturb other household members with the TV noise.

Phillips HiFi Headphones SHC5200 Not ImpressedSound quality, not having a charging dock, interference noise due to limited tuning capacity, not impressed with this model. I had an older model SBCHC8542 the
SHC 5200 is an inferior product/performer. Also, when placing the head on my head the left-hand padded ear cushion came off and very hard to replace. I will be returning this product back to JB-HIFI- Narellan, Sydney NSW

Works fantastically as a pair.Have had the set for nearly 5 years and have been faultless. Use in home theatre on tv. Wife thinks they are fantastic as she doesnt have to listen to sport from other room. Having a pair allows one to always be on charge. Looking to get a couple more hopefully on same frequency. Excellent product
