Rated 1 out of 5 by from Automatic oven function I have recently bought another WH ceramic top oven I too wrongly assumed the automatic function of turning on and off would be in the new model but after having it installed found it didnt exist. I rang the help line, was given some line about them not being safe anymore, Have never heard such rubbish in my life I would not recommend this model as its a waste of money

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Satisfied overall Ordering and delivery was fine. Oven looks good and does everything an oven should. It's pretty lightweight and feels flimsy in places (bottom kick panel wobbles around and lower warmer/storage drawer is PLASTIC!!). Internal light is always on if oven is on. Loads of polystyrene to dispose of after and no recycling options in lower North Island.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Smoothtop is utter crap; and has multiple cracks. Smoothtop cracked in numerous places; can't reccomend product as being fit for purpose, only seven monts old. Had two previous smoothtops and no issue with cracking. Can only assume someone is cutting corners on quality.

Is the programmable timer able to switch and off the oven ?

Hi Paula, thanks for reaching out. The timer does switch off the oven, however, even though the heating element turns off the oven will still retain substantial heat. This will continue to cook the food until it is removed or the oven cools down. If you do not plan on being present when the oven turns off, you should take this extra heating time into account. Hope this helps!

What is the maximum weight the ceramic top is guaranteed to hold?

Thanks for your question Jimmy. Glass-ceramic stove tops are durable, but not immune to the impact of heavy objects. Dropping or banging a heavy object on the surface will likely cause damage. When dragged across the glass surface, rough pots and pans can create micro-scratches. There are no specific weight requirements for cooktops in NZ, though could support up to 20kgs.
