Perfecto!I cannot recommend this product enough. The minute you turn on the cooktop it swing into action. The integrated Hob@Hood technology is fantastic. As soon as the cooktop is switched on the integrated rangehood also switches on. First with the lights, then when needed the exhaust fan turns on. No more billowing smoke that fills the room and sets off the smoke alarms because you forgot to turn on the rangehood. Every home deserves this product.

Absolutely Love itHave paid an extra cash to upgrade the standard kitchen package in our new build to get both Electrolux stove & rangehood with Hob2Hood technology. So far after 6 month of using it I have no regrets, as it was totally worth it.
The rangehood lights automatically turn on once the stove is switched on (something definitely to impress your guests with!). It also starts the fan once it senses the steam or a plate reaches hot temperature. Then it adjusts the fan speed to go faster or slower depending on how "busy" the stove gets. Eventually the rangehood will automatically turn off the fan and lights once you finish cooking by switching off the stove.
Almost no need to touch the rangehood control buttons at all. Magic!
It is quite compact but does the job very well. Not to mention it works pretty quietly compared with other brands and models.

Great RangehoodI bought this rangehood with an integrated induction cooktop and I love it. It is great how it automatically turns on when the cooktop does and senses the steam etc to adjust the fan speed. It shuts off automatically when cooking has finished. By far the best rangehood I have ever had.

New KitchenPurchased this item before our kitchen was started so it would fit into the cupboards. Love how it talks to the hot plates and turns off by itself after heat has left the cooktop.

Does this have to go in a "cupboard" or can it go directly in the ceiling?

Thanks for your question. This model needs to go in a cupboard. If it goes in a ceiling it won’t be as efficient in terms of usage and the controls could also prove difficult to reach. The minimum distance for safe and efficient use of the hob must not exceed 65cm from the gas hob. Hope this helps!
